If you're hoping for a contested convention and dislike Trump, I would argue tonight has been good so far.
Well that's true, and we do know that Trump loves poorly educated people and poorly educated people love Trump.....well nothing says poorly educated like Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama.
It's ironic that bobby is having a meltdown and blaming uneducated voters. Newsflash: the entire Republican party has always relied on uneducated voters. The fact that a business man with no prior experience in politics (who USED to be a self-admitted liberal mind you) can just come in and speak in broad generalizations and ride a catchphrase (make america great again) all the way to the nomination is proof of that. The same idiots that bobby excoriates right now are the people he frequently cites to when making arguments like "the American people believe in the 2nd amendment" and "the public has rejected president Obama".
Rubio might fail to hit 20% in multiple states. Not a good sign for him. This could be a really bad night for him.
Time for Rubio to bow out gracefully before he embarrassingly loses his home state. Cruz will easily take down Trump if this happens.
Rubio's candidacy is officially dead. Will he "suspend" his campaign or tough it out until March 15th?
Trump wins: AL GA MA TN VA Cruz wins: TX OK Rubio wins: *crickets* Current Delegate Standings: Trump: 221 Cruz: 69 Rubio: 41
I don't think so. Cruz is hated by Washington insiders. My guess is you'll see a ton of the establishment try and groom Trump to hope to make a new friend.
His crew is the master of setting low expectations and getting "establishment" sanctioned pundits to buy them and blab about them - that will keep him in it with hopes that Trump somehow implodes at the end. He'll also probably collect more money from desperate plutocrats.
