Not understanding why him being black has anything to do with this. You must be a DMo fan:rolleyes:

This really sucks...I feel with a better coach it would've worked out. Lawson excels in a fast pace offense..but with Iso Harden and post up Howard, this offense is too slow for him.

Why would he accept a buyout and lose all that money?

Everyone is talking about him going to the Knicks or Nets.

If he goes to the Nets, I bet he replicates his Denver numbers. He could get amazing assist numbers next to Lopez. Nets just look like an old version of the Denver teams that Lawson played for.

If he goes to Knicks, the jury is out. They need a PG badly like the Nets, but so did we and look how that turned out. Melo is the mid-range shooting version of Harden. We saw how much Lin flourished without Melo and how sharply he fell when Melo came back. I see Lawson playing poorly next to Melo just like he did with Harden.

That being said, Melo has been known to play great team ball for Team USA, and some of his supporters say he's always played on bad teams where he was the only star, hence why he has the reputation of a ball hog. Maybe he's more willing to defer to Ty than Harden is???

Watch the Mavs pick him up and watch him start averaging 15 & 9 again under Rick Carlisle.

As mentioned previously, wouldn't be surprised to see him do well on another team. Shows that there's a core flaw in our system since we couldn't properly utilize him.

Disappointing that we lost a 1rd pick for him and waived him less than a year later. Big L on Morry, although none of us could've had predicted this outcome.

There are no words to describe the disappointment. From 16/10 to unplayable is beyond comprehension. Please Ty go to the Knicks or Nets and play like we know you can. Then maybe this team can get a real coach and a system that isn't give it to Harden and pray.

That's what people thought would happen with Rondo, but that didn't work out so well. I don't think Ty will get his act together in that short amount of time. Maybe next season if he can solve his off-the-court issues.

People seriously making too many excuses for the guy. He looked 90% of the time like he didn't know how to play basketball anymore. At some point you should be more than just the system and just say **** it. Look at Thornton lol. Ty looked like one of the worst players in the whole league out there. That just doesn't happen because of a broken system, bad coach or whatever. It contributes sure, but not as much as it this.

What? That a team with a guy that has the ball in his hands all the time needs more of an off the ball sharp shooting PG?

That a team that jacks up the most 3pt shots and depends the most on them should make an effort to sign...good 3pt shooters?

Yea to Morey it might be.

I liked Thornton as a playmaker on our team. But apparently he was
    a personal distraction.

But, I'd put Fredette up against him on a 3pt contest any day of the week (see D League All Star game highlights)
For as cheap as we could pick him up, it would be worth a try for our scheme.

We shoot the most 3's in the NBA.
It's like we're supposed to be this sharpshooting SWAT team and
we're bringing in guys who are trained in hand to hand combat.

Who's will we sign to be the replacement?

Bev is injury prone, Jet is 38 so we definitely need another PG for depth.

McCallum, Rindour, Bynum, Cummings, Wolters, Wroten, Johnson?

People who blame James Harden for Ty Lawson's failures are a special kind of stupid, and I wish each of you the best of luck in not Darwin'ing out before the end of the day.
