If the Rockets are looking for some bench scoring, Marcus Thornton is available. He just cleared waivers! :)

    Thompson is off the market.

Is Busty Bennett our man? Morey does love his under performing high pick big men. Thabeet...TRob...

What is Morey doing? All these free agents that are better than the crap we have (Jones, Smith, Lawson) are getting picked up by other teams. It doesn't seem that the Rockets are involved in any of these guys.

I think it's pretty clear for the time being, we are taking a backseat to the real contenders because A) we are already in the luxury tax B) the players are going to play for San Antonio, Toronto or GSW over us no doubt C) It allows Morey to continue his "we believe in this group" bit.

I see us signing an overseas players or a D-League player to a multi-year minimum type deal similar to Bev's first contract and I expect it to be right before the cutoff date for playoff rosters.

these are prime example of the team's separation from other upper tier teams..they always compete and stay aggressive in many ways no matter what..

J.R. I don't think those are the best types of cans the Rockets should be kicking.

With the Ty Lawson buyout and Thornton waived, now there are now TWO empty roster spots.

Try to sign Nate Wolters who is playing overseas. Sign Elton Brand if he's available. Underrated D at PF/C, even if he's undersized and old.

If Copeland can get the stroke back (BIG IF), he could be a good stretch 4 option.

Yes, but waiting for other teams to pick them up before signing anyone. It's all about the LT now.
