Thanks for keeping the bench warm. Didn't even make me angry like the rest of the squad, forgot you were out there most of the time. Keep up the sobriety and best of luck elsewhere.
I think he would have been great with a normal offseason. Just spend most of it dealing with legal issues, and it showed. Watch him get back to Denver days with a full offseason to work out.
What a bust. When will Morey get fired for his ineptitude? Or are we celebrating the Lawson move because this board creamed its collective pants over his acquisition and everyone here now has to admit how dumb they were?
Thanks for not drinking and those stupid facebook posts. Thanks for killing our season. Watch us get the 5 seed and upset clippers without your ******
this is a tough one. not to spill water on a player appreciation thread, but there's not a whole lot here to appreciate. This is not a comment about Lawson as a human being--I'm sure he's a fine individual and his teammates seemed to like him. But his time here with the Rockets is pretty much a zero. And that's kind of sad, really.
When will Morey get canned for his ineptitude? Lawson was such a bust. Of course, most of this board creamed their pants at the acquisition, so maybe a lot of people here ought to admit how wrong they were about Lawson being the missing piece. Here's to Lawson finding himself in a dark alley giving handies in exchange for 40s of Schlitz.
turned out to be just a bad fit here with the personnel on this team. good luck to him on his next team
oh I wonder why when your best player asks for ball handling back court help and he gets it. Are you one of those that thought the same about JSmith? If so, you have no room to sit there and act like you saw this coming from the beginning. nobody did.
Lawson needs a perfect fit like he had in Denver, and the advantages of being their draft pick to develop, on top of them wanting to showcase him last year by inflating his numbers. No other team will look at him that way, so he will never come close to putting up DEN numbers again. Much like how Brooks did so statistically well for the Rockets, and never again.
We should have kept him and see how he plays under real coach next season. Mistake made once again. This date goes to my signature too.
Honestly, it seemed they never let him freely run the offence and regarded him as mostly a traditional point guard who either played off the ball or just brought the ball up court. I do not know what it is with the Rockets and point guards since McHale was with the team, maybe subconsciously hates Danny Ainge, but wither way, possibly would have liked him to show a little more passion on the court.
