Making America grate again. What an asshat, but as Buck suggests, it's a great band pass filter to determine who the asshats among us truly are.

Aside from the trainwreck this Presidential race is, it's also precedent-setting for all the future trainwrecks. I think we saw a bit of this in the 2012 Anybody-but-Romney race. But Trump (and Carson and Sanders) takes it to another level. Aspirants in 2020 and 2024 and on will be looking at Trump's 2016 campaign -- win or lose -- to see how they can recreate the magic and sharpen it. And since the magic seems to be appealing to the basest instincts, it probably means future campaigns will be even uglier than this one as politicians get better at pushing these 'angry' messages that appeal to sexism, xenophobia, war-mongering, and division.

This election cycle has shown the power of comedy in a campaign. If done in a less crass style then this year, but still using a bit of the roast technique, I think it could be extremely effective.

    Seinfeld 2020?

Can someone please enter the election under a new independent party called the "I'm not Trump" party. Just spew a bunch of conservative dribble and steal some of his votes.

Someone get Gary Johnson really high and I think he would do it.

To be fair he was afraid of saying anything about the KKK when he found out they were supporting him.

Incorrect. He had denounced them 2 days before in a press conference.

Why is that a virtue you admire in a president? I don't understand this. At all. This isn't sports talk radio; we don't need hot sports takes from our politicians. We want grounded, reasonable discourse, don't we? That literally sounds like you're talking about Colin Cowherd.

People have regressed to the point where they vote Camacho for president. It's truly sad.

Voting for Trump is very much like being a racist (and there is significant overlap) people might feel free to admit it online due to the relative anonymity of the internet, but they usually keep that sort of shameful thing secret in real life.

When I was casting my vote I felt a bit liberated. It felt like I was giving the finger to the establishment, media, and all the brainwashed sheeps out there. It felt really good.
