It looked to me like Harden didn't like him, he almost grimaced when he passed him the ball.

that's bad news. Do you think they will absolutely do something to get out of the tax?

If you looked up selfish chucker, he would be in the examples include section.

There's a reason somebody with his natural firepower can't find a regular job, an now isn't even picked up on a bargain deal.

    LMAO

Is this what the Rockets season has come down to?

Waiting for news to get below the luxury tax?

At this point, I'd be surprised if the Rockets can get below the tax threshold.

That said, while even 2-3 weeks ago I would've said basketballholic is insane for suggesting the Rockets might waive Terrence Jones just to drop below the tax, I wouldn't completely rule that out.

Would waiving him get them under though? His money is guaranteed, If they waive him someone would have to claim him to get his RFA rights for that to work, right?

They would need the Sixers to claim him and would have to work out such a "wink-wink" arrangement before waiving him. But I'd imagine Sam Hinkie would be very interested in having Jones's RFA rights.

Again, I'm not in the same camp as bballholic on this. I'm just saying it's no longer as insane a possibility as I once viewed it. Still doubt it happens.

I don't think we need to make an arrangements with the Sixers. Many teams will be interested in claiming Jones.

Jones is a big part of what's wrong with this team. On and off the court.

There's more to that car accident story and there's no room for a guy like him on a winning team. Period.

At this point, there's no tradeoff to be had. Get him out of here.
