The thing he says that I hate the most is when he says "we know this system works" How so? Because as far as Im concerned this system onky looks good because harden has made it a top flight offense by himslef. Now that he's having a down year ( he actually not) the team is struggling. This team can't get stops to save there life and it's embarrassing. The defensive schemes are so bad, switching is fine but you should only switch late in the clock and the rockets don't understand this. Not to mention the real reason we suck is that we have the worst bench in the entire league by a mile. If they were even just average Thai team would be in the 5th seed right now. I don't understand why morey is allergic to drafting players of need? He only does this stupid best player available which is suck bs because his track record shows that he picks some of the worst players available at his picks. Your mid to late first round picks are not going to be stars but they should develop into playable pieces by year 3. One of those guys is on another team one is out the league the other is a rookie who looks bad in dleague and the other is unplayable in year 4. MOREY needs to own up and realize he's a great cap manager numbers guy but that's its he should be a tool that the GM uses not be the actual GM.
That's what the Sixers are reportedly considering doing. Bringing in a new GM & putting Sam Hinkie in an "analytics-only" role. If they aren't going to fire him, maybe the Rockets should consider doing the same.

I think it's clear that Morey's days here are numbered. He has failed miserably during his tenure here and especially this season. The Lawson trade proved to be a disaster and doomed the season. Time to clean house and it starts from the top.
i'm just tired of this strategy, it's time for a change. Yes we got harden and howard but we look like a complete laughing stock out on the court. When no moves were made at the trade deadline i knew they threw in the towel for the season which sucks cause everyone had big hopes for this team.

Switching coaches and major philosophies is not helping Morey either, it is actually ruining his teambuilding. Shouldn't have hired McHale in the first place. I do not mind if Howard decided otherwise just because McHale wasn't here.
