He doesn't need to be above 2. Anywhere around 1.8-1.9 is more than acceptable. This season he's like 1.57 which is just way too low.
Just got home to see the last couple of minutes of the first half, then checked the stats. No Harrell? . I see quite a few in the -12's...brewer...jones...lawson. Sounds like Ariza is having a great game offensively.
Last year I'd be quick to say that too. This year..."We're the Rockets...just a reminder, we're the Rockets."
At this point it's almost like you need to waive Jones and Lawson if you hope to have sort of bench production in the playoffs. Somebody off the Vipers could contribute more.
Watching this team attempt to play what they call defense is sickening... no sense of proper close outs, no communication, and no perimeter or rim defense at all. Just a bunch of out of position, confused halfwits running around with no sense of direction.
our coaching is pathetic. the lack of energy and awareness from multiple role players (I'm looking at you TJones, Bev and JSmith) digs us a ridiculous hole as the coach won't stop and change things up. Bev is overly aggressive and the book is out. TJones has melted down into one of the worst players in the NBA and shouldn't receive another minute. JSmith is so scared his shot is bad you can see him doing everything possible not to shoot. And people wonder why Harden turns the ball over... smh... he's having to do way too much. I also so several nice flashes into the paint for DMo and no one recognized they could get an open 3-4 ft'r. Again, coaching, coaching coaching. Cod - tell me again how JB is an up and coming coach players respect? Is this in the way Johnny Manziels friends respect him? I didn't even mention lawson..... argh
If Lawson/Jones play more than 5 minutes in the 2nd half each, I guarantee that we lose this game (unless they are blow out minutes after the starters dominate)
Unfortunately, Dwight is more committed to the rolling than the pick. He sets halfhearted picks with the intention of rolling for a score. Problem is, he is no where as explosive as he once was and can't just fly in there for a guaranteed alley oop like he could when on the Magic.
