I think everyone knows that I am a conservative. I have stated publicly to my friends on FB that if Trump wins the nomination I will NOT vote for him.

Seems like this line or "expose liberal hypocrisy" are the only reasons some dumbasses still vote republican.

Media personalities have to speak in a way their target likes. Apparently after some time, the viewer doesn't have to think for himself.

He defends Trump because that's what annoys others the most.

I feel like voting AGAINST Trump would be more important than voting against Hillary or Bernie.

John Oliver a washed up "comedian" tries to imply that Trump isn't as rich as he says. In order to prove that, he quotes a figure from a book... from 2005. That's right, a figure from 11 years ago. According to the book, Trump was worth somewhere between $150 million and $250 million back then. John Oliver goes on and tries to imply that because Trump didn't win a lawsuit against the author, it must be true. However, he fails to mention the reason the judge didn't rule in favor of Trump: "O'Brien reasonably believed they were accurate". So, not because they were correct, but because it wasn't an intentional mistake. He also fails to mention that O'Brien declined to reveal his sources. So how wrong is John Oliver on this one? Let's use Forbes, which is clearly not in favor of Trump in any way. Forbes estimates Trump's net worth at $4.5 billion. What does this mean? If we go by the $150 million figure, he's underestimating Trump's net worth by 3000%. According to Forbes, Trump has more than that in one building alone. He goes on claiming Trump exaggerates his net worth because he has an ego problem. Now, if we go by Forbes, John Oliver is exaggerating exactly 15 times more than Trump. So what does that tell you about how insecure this guy must be? $10 billion is within the valid range of possibilities based on the official financial disclosure of assets. $150 million is just off by several orders of magnitude compared to that. This is what some people consider as a valid source. Let that sink in.

His aircraft collection alone is probably worth that.

Trump lied about his membership in the billionaire's club for a very long time before he officially met the mark. Even after becoming a verifiable billionaire, Trump exaggerated the extent of his billions. He even lambasted Forbes (most recently this past year) for pointing out that Trump wasn't as rich as he claimed.

Bloomberg and Forbes have previously established Trump has exaggerated his net-worth (this last year and previous years; easy to find the articles on google.). There may be problems with Oliver's source, but the claim isn't off the mark.

That is the hardest-hitting, most earth-shattering accusation against Trump so far.

You still need to convince me trumpeteer. I also like how you didn't refute any of the points where Trump is openly lying.

Do I need to start lying to get a head start into this elitist club of highly educated Trump supporters?

Also, please share your experience about when you first thought it was acceptable to lie or be lied to.

It's not my job to convince you on anything. Based on your previous posts, I can tell that you're b.s artist who well never vote for Trump or any conservatives so there isn't any reason to try to "convince" you but I'll give you the reason why I'll vote for Trump.

He has self funded his campaign. No one owns Trump and he doesn't owe anyone and that alone would be big plus for me and many others.

Immigration law. No candidate has been this tough on illegal immigration since quite sometimes. According to Federation for American Immigration Reform, illegal immigrants costs US taxpayers 113 billion per year also for every illegal migrant household that leaves the United States under Trump’s plan, Americans would recoup nearly three-quarters of a million dollars ($719,350), according to 2010 data collected by Heritage scholar Robert Rector. The main thing pushing down wages and employment for our poorest citizens is unskilled workers who don't have to play by the same rules as citizens. A higher minimum wage is just going to put more people out of jobs and increase the benefits of hiring illegal workers. If we fix the immigration issue and close the floodgates of unskilled workers, we can begin to take more effective measures to help our citizens who need it most.

Jobs and Economy . Since the beginning of 2000, the U.S. economy has lost 5 million manufacturing jobs. A study published last year by the National Bureau of Economic Research found that between 2 million and 2.4 million jobs were lost to competition from China from 1999 to 2011. Now bringing back jobs would be tough but if he can increases Tariff on exports and 35% tax on all air conditioners coming from the United States it can prevents companies from moving. Trump will also lower taxes on middle and lower class.

Terrorism. Trump has acknowledged the dangers allowing mass refugees from places governed by fundamentalist terrorist groups, even if such acknowledgment is not politically correct. He doesn't want to arm any rebel groups or overthrow and government because he understands that terrorists will overtake the country. Trump seems to me of a isolationist that doesn't want to meddle in foreign affairs. He even said "let Putin take care of ISIS in Syria". Trump cares more about national security and wants to temporary ban Muslims till ISIS is defeated and not a threat to kill Americans.

I'm sure Trump would whine like a b**** about this being "unfair" but IMO there's absolutely nothing unfair about anything in this video at all.

In 2014 a conservative outsider Chris McDaniel ran for the GOP nomination in the Mississippi Senate race and was able to defeat 50 year fossil GOP establishment hack senator Thad Cochran in the primary, but since neither got 50% they went to a run off.
In the run off once again McDaniel won the majority support from Republicans, but this time the GOP establishment and NRSC ran TV and Radio attack ads against McDaniel calling him a racist, paid black democrats to vote for Cochran, and paid black pastors to organize their black congregations to go vote for Cochran, and Cochran ended up beating McDaniel.
The GOP ended up playing the race card against a conservative outsider who threatened the senate seat of a longtime establishment insider candidate. They went full race card, full race bait to protect the GOP establishment insider seat at all costs.
If the GOP establishment was willing to go this far and this low to protect the seat of some 50 year senator, how far would they be willing to go when the stakes are higher in a presidential campaign?
They are now doing the same to Donald Trump. The Full Mississippi Strategy. When all else fails, go the race card route. And the media is more than willing to go along with it.
Sundance at The Conservative Treehouse predicted they would go this route 5 days ago, and was right on the money. You can read more about the GOP establishment plan to go Full Mississippi on Trump here:

I loled very hard at this. It seems like you just spliced together economic terms and hoped they would make sense. Like some sort of Zodiac Killer of Export Air Conditioner Tariffs. XD
