I'd be cool with buying out Lawson and signing McCallum. Ray is averaging 2 points, 1 assist shooting 30% from 3 so I doubt we'd even notice a difference.
Every time I see him play in garbage time for the Spurs he hits his shots. Will not hurt to sign him since we need a back up PG because Terry will not hold up with minutes he is currently getting and Ty Lawson seems to be passive taking open shots.
Not going to happen because Le$ cares about his money and the Rockets aren't an attractive destination for NBA players unless they are desperate.
I would consider any player of McCallaum's stature getting cut, pretty open to what is available to them.
Much better fit next to Harden, coming off bench than Lawson or MT. This kid will at least defend is much better shooter then stats suggest. Sign him and Putney already, Rockets need some hungry players on team for stretch run. Lawson, Terry, buyout already, enough is enough.
I think the kid has a lot of potential. The only reason he is getting cut is because the Spurs are going all in and are making room for Andre Miller. I watched him a couple of times last year and he can become a very good player in this league.
Ty doesn't really take a lot of shots. I wish he would attack the basket using his speed and craftiness like last year
