Don't post that in the Star Wars thread, you will ruffle some feathers. I don't put a number rating to Star Wars, rather just rate versus the others. Star Wars TFA: 1.5/7 This was worst to second worst Star Wars movie. I don't anyone even try an intervention on me to sway me to reconsider my Lucas heresy.
Yup, Star Wars TFA is pretty terrible. It's like when the new Indiana Jones came out and everyone wanted to like it, and then they realized it was awful. TFA has some of the worst dialogue and story twists ever.
I agree. I gave this a 1/10. Had to literally walk out of this film. I'm sure there was more to this film or some deeper meaning, but I didn't see it.
I too stand firmly (in the minority) that did not like this movie at all. Literally kept asking myself throughout the first hour, wtf is this??
The Fault in Our Stars Heartwarming yet incredibly tragic. A very emotional journey. And while it didn't really examine the horrible realities of cancer in great detail, that wasn't the real purpose here. 9/10
I can certainly see that. Miller's style, you're either gonna love or absolutely hate. For me, I think he achieved cinematic perfection.
Live. Die. Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow i give it a 92/100; just a super fun film! Wish i saw it in theaters.
Lol, John Wick was good... But it's no Mad Max... Typo??? 10/10 on Max??? Like best reviewed of year and killing it at Academy...
Zoolander 2 - 3/10 90% of the comedy was a rehash of old jokes and celebrity cameos. Only good parts were with Will Farrell.
Room - 8/10 - Great movie, tear jerker for sure. The Big Short - 9/10 - Fantastic Movie all around and really informative. Martian - 8/10 - The movie was well done. Like another Apollo 13 but diff circumstances.
Really. You paid for a ticket (not cheap), and you.. walked out. And yet you're sure there was more to the film.. but you.. didn't see it. Because you 'walked out'. You sure showed THEM!
Legend 6.5/10 it was alright, just seemed to drag on a bit and the whole American mafia thing never really connected well in the movie imo.
Not sure it's worth starting a new thread seeing as how there hasn't been much buzz around it, but I watched that new Netflix series "Love" over the weekend. Eh. Not bad. Not great. 6/10. Anybody else seen it?
I don't understand why Mad Max was such a divisive movie, it's just a fun action movie. Were you guys that hated it expecting some kind of life-changing cinematic experience? It was just a very good action movie, which are hard to come by these days.
yeah i watched the whole thing over two days while i studied for tests. i'd say 7/10 for me. it could have been better in certain ways. i liked it for one reason quite a lot because it was not conventional, nor was it predictable compared to most things I have seen like that.
