They have way overcompensated and the irony is that with all the overcompensation they haven't actually done anything that matters lol
While I think they overdid the black message from an entertainment perspective, that's how you make a point. Believe you overshoot and you oversaturate to your own detriment. The message was delivered. It was heard. And was not clouded by miscommunication. Darth Vader by Sasha, funny, Loved the joke about Rocky being science fiction.

I think it may just be the makeup. They showed clips of her from hosting something last night and she looked normal.
Spotlight was so boring. Uninteresting dialogue. Poor camera work. It felt like a tv movie to me. A bunch of good actors who could have been replaced by nobodies bc it didn't require them to do anything but speak their lines.
Find a token to at least nominate or the whole show will turn into a black show. They are even using "Fight the Power" as the outro song for the Oscars.
How does a film have the best actor and best director and not win best film? It doesn't make sense to me.
Did Spotlight even win a single award other than best movie? Best movie with zero other wins? Ridiculous.
