They did tonight. Just calling it as I see it. Those fouls weren't fouls son. Touch fouls kept the Warriors in the game. But Steph is clearly the future of the NBA. I've never seen Jordan look better that was crazy.
You're right in that they weren't calling it consistently on both ends of the court. Westbrook would literally go to the line every time down the court if he got the same calls Curry gets.
i mean, i don't really see why there is hesitancy in having him in greatest "player" of all time discussion. Not anointing him, but he should be in the discussion, not just "shooter". Shooter is a bit of a dis-service to his driving, and assist ability. He does his part on defense. what more does he have to do besides longevity?
If he wins 6 championships playing at this level, he would be considered top 2 if not the GOAT. It's too early right now. WAYYYYY too early.

OKC so far has had two games where a play here and there decided it. If I'm a OKC supporter this sucks but I'm not afraid of the Warriors. Westbrook can play A LOT better than he did tonight...they didn't lose by 20, they lost by 3 in OT.
It's WAYYYYYYY to early to crown him one of the greatest players of all time. Greatest shooter? Well yeah
He wasn't MVP last year. He is this year. Steph is averaging 7 points more this year than last. They also faced teams who had losses to really good key players. Especially the Cavs who they barely beat and the Cavs only had a big two. With Love and Irving Lebron would have his third ring. Steph is on another level this year though.
He was hit on the head... None of those angles on the clip showed it. Ref was right there... Westbrook didn't really complain... Refs typically call all contact to the head pretty consistently.
alright let me clarify. My point was not not that he will ever be proclaimed greatest player. But he should be considered one of the greats...without just the "shooter" - qualification. else, I agree with what you are saying.

he is changing the game completley. No one is taking and making shots from that deep with the game on the line with that frequency. No one. 20 years from now it may be more common place because he proved this can be done with proficiency.
It's too early to say that. He needs to get six rings. Even then Jordan would have more if he didn't leave. The league was all soft and p***y like it is now. In the end I would just give it to Jordan. But Steph is getting close to #2 IMO.
While the 3 point shot has become everybody's favorite shot... It's doubtful that he's revolutionized shooting and will breed a league of dead-eye marksmen. Much like the post-game at its run, with several talented/dominant post-players all coming in the same time... This is the golden age of long-range shooting, and he's the best. Just like nobody has been on Hakeem's level in the post since... Steph could just be that generational player that can do things with his long-range shot that may never be seen again.
