And I never suggested that it meant you were incorrect. I obviously do believe that you are incorrect and can't imagine how you could possibly have the opinion that you do, but that doesn't mean that you are wrong. Crazier things have happened. As to commenting about fandom, you said yourself that you are a Smith fan, that's why I said it. I was saying that even though you admittedly are a Smith fan, I still can't see how you would have that opinion of his game. It wasn't a "snide" remark.

Magic didn't clear him, because he didn't show up. Instead, he decided to go to Detroit, where he also wasn't cleared.

Every Lithuanian knows that band. It used to be kinda popular 5-10 years ago. But DMo DID NOT reference to it. "Skrisim" that he tweeted is not just song's name, but a standard word, meaning "we will fly".

My theories are based upon watching what the org does, time and time again, not a single player is on the roster once their rookie deals are up, yet many are doing quite well in the NBA on other teams while we wait for YOUNGER CHEAPER players to try to get NBA ready.

I honestly believe that Morey's philosophy is flawed, and will never work, and believe the organization would be better served if a basketball guy was above him to help make proper BASKETBALL decisions.

As for whether they are hiding something on DMo? Ask Detroit - but let's just say that I have some connections in the medical community in Houston that have told me basically DMo is fine.

    And them, I trust.

And because of that, I believe that the Rockets made a COST CUTTING decision over a basketball decision - which they have done over and over again, Parsons anyone?

I want the team I CHEER for to KEEP their talent and build, not hope that something breaks right in free agency - while Harden's career is wasted.

They are in tax territory. Seems they are willing to spend the money. However, given this monkey hump of a season i cant blame them for cutting cost at this point.

    Aaron Brooks/Sergio Llull/Nick Johnson
    Jeremy Lamb/Donte Green/Jermaine Taylor
    Chandler Parsons/Sam Dekker/Chase Budinger
    Patrick Patterson/Carl Landry/Marcus Morris
    Clint Capela/Joey Dorsey

I went and did some very quick research so some minor detail may be wrong, but these are the players that were drafted by Houston and we could have if we chose to keep them.

Brooks isn't too great in Chicago. He was traded for Dragic and a first round pick which ended up becoming Motiejunas after a series of trades. So if we kept and paid Brooks then we wouldn't have Motiejunas.

Sergio Llull doesn't want to come over. Nick Johnson can't find a team to play on in the NBA.

Jeremy Lamb is breaking out to be a solid off the bench player, but he also netted us James Harden in a trade.

Donte Green netted us Ron Artest who helped Houston win a playoff series. Jermaine Taylor is out of the league. Both of them are.

Chandler Parsons is a successful nba player, but is becoming a free agent this upcoming off season. Jury is out on Dekker. Budginer is almost out of the league, but he was traded for Terrence Jones who is also out of the league soon according to some NBA experts on this board.

Patrick Patterson would be good on this roster, but he was traded for Thomas Robinson. T-Rob was that year's #5th pick and on his rookie contract. Robinson was then traded to make room for one Dwight Howard who has helped Houston make the WCF once. So either we keep Patterson in exchange of a potential Howard signing or not.

Carl Landry is currently irrelevant with the sixers. He was traded for Kevin Martin. K-Mart turned into one James Harden. Again. Landry or James?

Marcus Morris could still be on the team if you'd like. He didn't turn into anything other than Isaiah Canaan.

Clint Capela is decent for a 2nd year player. Joey Dorsey is lame, but he was also in the trade that netted up K-Mart and then Harden.

So, there are only 2 players out of all the players we were too cheap to pay that could make a difference and not affect the team. Chandler Parsons Marcus Morris.

If we still want James Harden and Dwight howard on the roster this will be the roster we could have if we only chose to keep Morris and Parsons because all the other guys would drastically change the landscape of the team if we kept them. We keep Brooks and theres no DMO. We keep Bud and theres no Jones.

    Beverley/Brooks/Terry
    Harden/Brewer
    Parsons/Ariza(signed before Parsons left)/Budinger
    Marcus Morris
    Dwight Howard/Capela

Is that team really that much better (or drastically different?) the rest of the guys would basically change the entire mold of the team. Either no dwight or no James and Dwight. Why would you do that just to pay Aaron Brooks or Pattrick Patterson?

So Marcus Morris and Parsons are pretty much the only players you have a point of us not wanting to pay. All the other guys made a difference when traded. Congrats. Sorry if this post is really cluttered. Hard to watch the game, and make this post at the same time.

    Great post.

NBA teams do a lot of things to cut costs, but the conspiracy theories don't work here.

DMo's been fine all of this time, huh? The Rockets just wanted to keep him out while TJ has struggled. They didn't want the best product on the floor. Also, Detroit Piston Baaassskkkeettbbbaallll (I miss that PA guy) has corrupt docs that pushed for a failed physical. Wait, what?

    Anyway, go Rockets!

Well that's one more than Terrence Jones, Trevor Ariza, Clint Capela, Montrezl Harrell & KJ McDaniels combined. :p
