I agree that there is no need for debate, but both Smith and Jones are net negatives on the court right now. Honestly if they don't step things up, they should probably be out of the league pretty soon. Jones is young enough to where maybe he'll take his game to Europe or China and see if he can be good with that level of competition.

Now maybe DMo comes back and is a net negative on the court too, it would suck, but it's possible....either way, the Rockets have nothing to lose playing DMo and Harrell for just about all of the minutes at PF. I know Smith is Howard's friend but unless he starts playing a lot better you just can't have him out there.

I do get what you're saying but if T-Jones is a net negative on the court, is he really that much better than DMo who's a net neutral?

Gotta go with Dmo, he can actually hit all those open 3s SMoove and TJ miss or don't dare to take.

    You're assuming Motiejunas is healthy.

Better DMo not doing anything, than TJones/Smoove hurting the team.

He hit them in the D league with ease 2 weeks ago. Open 3s translate no matter what league.

Given that he might play in less than 19 hours from now, it's a pretty safe assumption.

Rebounds are very important especially from our bigs and they translate to points or prevent second chance points. Get your head out of your ass DD.

We should just give him 15-20 min a game from here on out and hope that he is ready to play in the playoffs should we make it.

Yet, you believe we should give Dwight Howard a new contract? Even though he has had a worse injury history?

No, actually he can't contribute he doesn't fit - which is why he has sucked pretty much all year, DMo is healthy, has been cleared, the org is just scared of past injuries to take a risk -sometimes in life you just have to go all in - and the Rockets have said...no no, that is not us....and because of that, we keep flipping players. DMo is the type of player to go all in with...he is a super role player a guy who makes EVERYONE on the floor better, he is our potential Draymond Green as was Parsons, but hey, let's keep flipping so we can wait 3 more years to develop a player for another team.

Josh Smith is a TERRIBLE NBA player - he has lost about 5 steps, can't shoot and thinks he is better than he is....I know the players like him, and he is their DAWG - but he is NOT a plus player outside of an occasional game in which he is a positive. His best attribute is that he is Dwight's pal.

DMo is far and away the best PF we have on the roster, it is time for the org to pull it's head out of it's collective asses and recognize it.

You want to go on a run? START DMO.

    DD

Everyone knows that when healthy he's obviously the best PF on our roster. That "when healthy" is a big qualifier though.

I'm nervous I hope DMo is ready. I'd rather have him at better health for the playoffs. But eff let's roll the dice!
