I don't know, because most of our players not only suck at rebounding, but also suck at boxing out. We only have a handful players who are good at at least one of those things. So as long is advanced stats back up the fact that DMo is making a positive impact on our rebounding, I'm fine. I'll just keep ignoring the ignorant low IQ posters saying the opposite.
They don't. They just don't like it when a T-Jones fan comes in and starts trashing DMo. For what it's worth though, I don't know if you're still a TJones fanboy. But you used to ride his **** like a real trooper.
Fair enough. Nobody is disagreeing here. T-Jones is just that good at basketball. DMo is good, but injury prone. Plus both might command sizeable contracts.
Bwhahaha advanced stats wow, man you and DD on another level of lunacy. If anything he won't play a single minute.
Bump the advanced stats and show me what he actually do on the court with the minutes he played. Dude you really need to start thinking reality verses being overzealous about one damn player.
This is what you call ignorance. Bobby always attack Jones when someone gives their opinion on Dmo. And he's not the only that does that nonsense.
For the longest time the discussion was DMo vs Jones. Fortunately even the most ridiculous Jones fans have walked back their positions now but you can't pretend like that wasn't the case. Oftentimes those who embarrassed themselves defending Jones for years are those who try and dump on DMo as if it'll make them look a bit less foolish, but it does the exact opposite. Really you just need to calm down and stop focusing so much on one player.
Whenever DMo returns to the court, there is going to be a mega adjustment period for him. He'll be playing very limited minutes, and he isn't going to contribute right away or consistently for awhile. Heck, there's a good chance that the voided trade harmed his ego, knowing that he was super close to having to listen to that squeal from SVG for thirty games. Look, I like DMo, and when he has been healthy, the potential was fun to watch. However, as Rockets fans, we've been through the injury bugs and the years of horrible, season-ending surgeries from injuries. DMo may turn out to be a decent rotational player, but at this point, no one knows what to expect from him. Anything is a bonus now. With all of TJ's flaws, I'd still take him over DMo right now. Not because I like him more or because he's better than DMo. I'd play him over DMo because he's actually able to play and can contribute RIGHT NOW and the next day. It's simple. There's no need for the tired debate. Actually, we have a guy named Josh Smith that can do some awesome things when he gets consistent minutes. Even when he doesn't shoot the ball well, he's an underrated passer and good post defender. Let's go with him.
