I want to see Dwight back on a reasonable contract. He was considering firing Fegan before the trade deadline, so he didn't fire him because he didn't get traded. Dwight wants a new agent. No doubt that Fegan was behind some of the "sources" leaks. Wouldn't look good for him to retaliate with gossip drama. Fegan mishandled Deandre fiasco. Fegan was fired by John Wall. Fegan has now been fired by Dwight Howard. Good for Dwight to take a stand. I hope he truly wants to focus on a championship in Houston with his teammates.
I don't know how beneficial the relationship has been for Dwight I mean . . he got his money but seriously. . .getting Dwight Max Money was never an issue to this point so . . . . Or, maybe Dwight is not happy about his agent failed to find a trade before the deadline and he had to stuck with this team till the end of the season. Hence he got fired.

if he knew he was going to get fired yes possibly. A lot of agents do this, leak stuff against their former clients especially if it's near a new contract. And with such an amount of leaks lately against the Rockets it's very suspicious isn't it? All the time lately a new headline with something against the team.
I gotta believe that's exactly what happened. Woj has been a great mouthpiece for him in the past. I think Berger's unnamed sources were Fegan and Co as well. The smear campaign against James has been real hard this year. This was probably a final effort to close the door between Howard and the Rockets to secure a deal elsewhere. It backfired badly.
As great as that would be for us, there is no way he would do this. What if he gets hurt? Way too much risk on his part.
