Sorry it didn't work out with Thornton in Houston. I LOVED his quick release shot. MT was a good value. Hopefully next year the Rockets can find some more quality vets for the league minimum to fill out the bench.........(after they get Durant).....
Sadly, this. And also, my #1 pick next year for "Ex-Rocket who will scorch us in his 1st game against his old team" will be MT. He is cold blooded.
A disgruntled player can say anything he'd like. Did I say it would absolutely be true? No. I for one don't believe in all the reports about how strongly some of the players don't get along etc. However, an upset player can say anything, and that's all sports writers need, and want. We don't need any more distractions. We need to focus on getting better. If Thornton opens his mouth, and it's not true, then use it as motivation to prove him/the rest of ESPN wrong.

I like the move but it is a shame we are getting rid of the two guards that were supposed to help take off of Hardens work load
"Somewhere along the way, things went left." Go get 'em Marcus & Ty! Best of luck on your new team(s)!
oh please. was that the first thing that he said when he was originally sent to detroit. nope. he immediately wanted to make it known the rockets "didn't know how to use him correctly"
Man, when we signed Thornton this offseason, I thought it was an absolute steal. I still think it would be if this team had played with some heart early on.
I liked Thornton. one of the quickest releases in the NBA He'll find a spot somewhere where he will flourish
No. Wesley wasn't a GREAT player by any stretch and I desperately wanted the Rockets to upgrade over him, but Wesley was a hard nosed player who gave all of his effort on defense for us.
