Thornton sucks. He's inconsistent as a scorer and might catch fire once every 8 games. He's consistently a bad defender though. He brings nothing to the table if his shot isn't on. There is a reason why he has bounced around from team to team. Stop overrating him.

salary should never justify a player being able to play horribly. When the weakest point of this team is obviously defense, he in no way shape or form improves that. In fact he does the opposite.
