Texan people love guns and they have lots of them. Good luck with your unarmed Lithuanian army.

In regards to Motiejunas, Bickerstaff said the third-year player wants to return but has to pass some medical tests on his back.

Motiejunas underwent lumbar microdiscectomy surgery last April and has undergone numerous setbacks in his recovery. He’s played in just 14 games this season for the Rockets and four D-League games.

“The conversations we had today are he’s feeling good,” Bickerstaff said of Motiejunas. “He’s interested in playing sooner rather than later. They’re going to look at the disc and things like that; obviously you want to be cautious with him. He said he feels good and he wants to play.”

Yep, if the Rockets don't play him, it could get ugly.

Of course, I want him to play, but the Rocks have their own agenda.

Are you talking about yourself? Like you will get create a ripple in south Texas if D-Mo doesn't play?

You guys seriously need to chill. If the Rockets find that the tests Detroit did on him were overcautious and he's cleared to play then they will play him. If he doesn't make it off the bench then that means he's rusty enough to get beat out by a rookie, and small ball.

I'm sure when Morey got the trade rescinded he knew that he had to look to retain D-Mo if possible in free agency to maintain positive value. Especially now since his market will surely be much lower & he represents good value if retained at the right price... but all that goes out the window if he can't play basketball ever again consistently because of chronic back problems.

Whatever Detroit's doctors found needs to be taken seriously. More serious than the crazy D-Mo fans like yourself seem to be about it which I find astonishing. I seriously am beginning to think that you couple guys really want him back ASAP just to prove a point and could give two sh#$'s about his longterm health. Its not about you guys dude.

You missed the part where DMo plays basketball for a month already, hasn't complained about any problems the entire time, says he feels good and wants to play.
We are worried about his long term health, but did you read what I wrote? At this point you must be suspicious about Morey's intentions, since he was trying to get rid of DMo, what stops him from continuing to do what's best for him and not DMo? Like continuing not to play DMo, making his health look worse and worse in eyes of other NBA teams?

...which is to get rid of him after the season.

Still happy about that trade being voided due to DMO's inability to pass an NBA physical?

Worrell and Bullard said during the Root Sports broadcast last night they expect Dmo to play against the Bucks but who knows if they have any inside knowledge when it comes to that stuff.

Well said. If I could rep I would.

I'm a huge fan of D-mo but come on if Detroit backed out they have a good reason. It's been known they wanted him.

Well sure, long term uncertainty along with a team that they don't have a lot of faith in. Pretty solid reasons to want to hold on to your own pick.

If you think the rockets aren't desperate to make the playoffs you're wrong. Morey might even get fired if they don't make the playoffs. If they thought dmo could help them get in the playoffs they would play him. Most likely the Pistons doctors raised additional red flags and the rockets have to check to make sure they didn't miss anything before letting him play again. Let's just use common sense here.

Two teams decided a late lottery pick was better than DMo, in other words.

Late first round pick with for 4 year contract is better than late first round pick with 3 months contract. Obviously

DMo is worth more than Howard.
