Gotta say, is there any shot Curry cannot make?? Is he even surprised by his own makes anymore? The range he has is ridiculous, wish I would enjoy watching him more. Please go to Charlotte, your hometown and finish your career there.

He's really good and is going to be an alltime great.

But he has an insane amount of help that takes a lot of pressure of him.

Personally I think lebron harden Westbrook cp3 and durant would all have the top record in the league playing on that warriors team in currys place. Would the numbers be the same? No but the overall success would imo.

You think those players would buy into the system and play off ball?? Would actually try to cut or run around screens?

    Harden? LeBron? Westbrook?

Curry is great because he's COACHABLE. Not many superstars are...

Stephen Curry will finish his career as a carnival act whose team exploited modern, bastardized NBA rules with moving screens and flopping if the opponent attempts to fight around the moving screens.

Heard a stat on 610 today that Curry is shooting such a high percentage from shots 3 feet behind the three point line up to like 50 feet that he is more efficient at that range than a player who shoots 100% on 2 pointers.

But i thought Curry is doing all of this off the dribble though? All other shooters in the history of the game only came off of screens, while Curry never does. Haven't you heard?

His greatness bores me at this point. It's a mere formality that he will embarrass any team he faces.

I find it boring too. I find it unimpressive like Big O just came out and said.

    I'm with Poppovich -
“I don’t think it’s basketball. I still hate it. I’ll never embrace it. I don’t think it’s basketball. I think it’s kind of like a circus sort of thing. Why don’t we have a five-point shot? A seven-point shot? You know, where does it stop, that sort of thing. But that’s just me, that’s just old-school."

I hate the Warriors, and Curry, and their fans. I miss the basketball of the 90s, when the rules were proportionate from the 1 to the 5, proportionate from shooters to low post guys, proportionate from offense guys to defense guys. Now it is all skewed to eliminate low post, eliminate bigs, eliminate defense and promote the circus act. It used to be a balanced beautiful game. Now its like watching that trustfund brat kid on 2k video games who just sprints down and jacks 3s for 48 minutes, and then trolls all smug by pausing and un-pausing the game rapidly after every made 3.

    He's shooting over 67% from 28' to 50'!! 35 of 52 from that range.

    INSANE!!!

So Pop hates the 3pointer. Is that what you're saying too? You hate the 3 pointer?

They're not giving Curry 5 or 7 points for these shots he's making from so deep. It's the same 3 point line as it was in the 90's...actually, for a while it was even shorter back then...And he's still taking and making them.

On top of that, he facilitates that offense very well. They play great team defense. I think they're impressive as hell to watch.

I don't think it's boring, it's very exciting to watch. Curry has been exciting to watch since he was in College, i don't know anyone who watched that tourney and didn't want their team to draft Curry. He's had a lot of special moments and highlights since college and rookie year, it's really nothing new for him. He's just doing it every other game now and of course his team overall is the best.

That said, i don't think it's as exciting as watching Kobe and MJ's best games. Shooting 3's is cool and all, but it just doesn't have the same feeling as someone who is destroying their opponent surrounded by a crowd of defenders. Curry is running down hill while the defender is backing up and launching it or coming off of screens(many of which are frustratingly moving screens that are never called). Fun..but just not the same. He's had some good lay ups, but the defensive effort on them are pathetic. Those would get thrown into the stands by 90's Centers IMO. Overall, It does feel more like a circus, streetball or And 1 game.

MJ and Kobe going off? "You don't get it son. This isn't a basketball court. This is an operating table....and i'm the surgeon."

If it was the Rockets, people here wouldn't say it was boring.

Yeah, if it was the Rockets, people would be saying that the Rockets just ushered in the golden age of basketball.

I don't think it's a coincidence that a bunch of people here revere the '90s as the most perfect era of basketball that makes all other eras look like trash by comparison and that our team won two titles in the '90s

I think they're annoying as hell to watch. I think they're smug brat poster boys who play like they know the NBA bastardized rules and refs favor them. Their defense is to flop on the ground to eliminate big men so that Green isn't mismatched, because he is crucial for beginning the series of moving screens each possession. "Thou shalt not breath on Curry" rules prevent elite defenders from full pressing, so Curry can do his practiced carnival shot from way deep. If a defender does an effective job in picking him up at half court, then here comes Green with the high moving pick. If the defender is effective in getting over or under the moving pick, then the flop is executed by either Curry or the moving screener.

They are the new Jerry Sloan ball. Dirty and despicable. Fans of the Warriors are like fans of the Jazz during the Sloan era. Me I'm more of a Rockets fan. I'm like Pop. I like real defense. I like the balanced pure game of basketball which includes elite bigs, low post offense, drives and cuts that aren't created through a series of moving screens and flops if defenders fight around the moving screens. The Spurs take down of the Heat was impressive as hell to watch. That was beautiful basketball. Dubs are button mashers. Cheat code enterers. (enterers? ok sure enterers)

    Repped.

You'll never see me sing the praises of:

    Steph Curry
    Karl Malone
    Jerry Sloan
    Derek Fisher
    Matt Barnes
    Mark Cuban
    Dirk Flopinski
