Trump came in very unprepared even after knowing he would be under the attack all night long. Rubio won the debate but I don't think any of this will effect the polls since most of people already made up their minds.

I think everyone had shallow positions. They would spend 15 seconds talking about policy and then a minute berating one of the other candidates. The whole format rewards beating up on each other (since you're awarded time if your name is called out). Picking fights with each other is the easiest way to get time to talk in a debate.

it's puzzling why trump got no policies details whatsoever. how long has he been running now? it's no that hard. get your advisers to work something out. anything. it's not like cruz or rubio got genius policies either. the guy that implements the policies matters more the policies themselves.

Trump looked like a total moron yet again, but it won't matter because his supporters are the lowest form of human life....meaning he represents them well.

I'd still take him over Cruz. Wouldn't enjoy either turd pie, but Cruz is the most repulsive person I have ever seen.

I'm no fan of the Canadian, but I honestly can't think of a candidate I'd pick Trump over. Other candidates are just bad candidates, voting for Trump is basically voting for Charlie Sheen.

Policies details? Doesn't matter a single bit. Trump is not running on policy specifics, but on all of you are r****ded, I'm super smart and trust me, I'll know.

As much as I loathe Trump, Lindsay Graham has no credibility to attack anything. Graham is a self-loathing homosexual whose only political schtick is to start World War 3 versus Iran on behalf of Israel. Graham should move to Israel and run for office there.

Trump sounded pretty anti-war in the debate today so that's something better than everyone else besides Sanders.

And tonight wasn't about Trump "winning" the debate, making better points, or appearing more intelligent.

It was about him looking alpha while two betas tried and failed to take him down.

Rubio had the better lines but looked nervous as hell, gripping the podium for dear life at times. Cruz had good mannerisms but his attacks didn't really go anywhere.

    This is over.

^ Totally agree. As if we needed further confirmation, Trump has planted the image of an inept and pathetic Rubio at the negotiating table within every mind.

Dude came out looking like a shark in Cruz's backyard.

    Embarrassing

I like that Trump is using the fact he has had examinations on his last 12 returns as some sort of defense. Trump is made of teflon. Any other business candidate that would be an attack.

Rubio did that himself. This entire field is pathetic.

As silly as it sounds, it was pretty clear. He unbuttoned his vest at one point, puffed out his chest. Raised his chin the entire time. Made minimal eye contact with either of them. Pure power play and got both Rubio and Cruz to fold at certain points, all while Trump kept regurgitating bull****---which is the status quo for him and works.
