This kind of stunt is wholly unnecessary. White supremacists aren't shy in their support for Trump and Trump hasn't been shy in accepting their support. Trump's Twitter feed is like 20% Stormfront anyway.

Trump is gonna have to get tough with the Mexicans over this wall thing. He did write The Art of the Deal, so I am sure Trump will make it happen somehow...

Ex-Mexican Prez To Trump: 'I'm Not Going To Pay For That *****ing Wall'

Former Mexico President Vicente Fox had a strong message for Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump on Thursday: Mexico is "not going to pay for that ****ing wall."

Fox told Fusion's Jorge Ramos that Trump should pay for the U.S.-Mexico border wall, the Republican's marquee foreign policy plan, because "he's got the money."

"Democracy cannot take us to crazy people," Fox responded when asked if he was afraid that Trump would win the election.

Fox also cited Trump's decisive win at the Nevada caucuses, particularly his support from Hispanic voters, as evidence of a troubling precedent.

"I would like to know who those Hispanics are because they, again, they are followers of a false prophet, and he's going to take them to the desert," he said. "If they think they will benefit from an administration led by Donald Trump, they're wrong."

Fox also said Trump is not a Republican. "Open your eyes," he said.

"It's not to defend our race, it's not to defend our creed. It's to defend this very same nation that is hosting you. This nation is going to fail if it goes into the hand of the crazy guy," Fox said.

Current Mexico President Enrique Peña Nieto has also said that our southern neighbors would not be paying for a border wall.

My guess is that they weren't impersonating anyone to fool you into thinking they were that way, it was probably done to be satirical.

Interestingly, I work with a Muslim from Pakistan who's supporting Trump. I've found his position fascinating and he's been very honest and open in multiple discussions. His position, essentially, is that he's here and he's successful - so he'd rather keep everybody out than let that one bad apple ruin his peaceful, harmonious existence.

How far is he willing to go? Racial profiling? Cool. Again, catch the bad guys, don't disrupt his way of life.

I wonder if his "I got mine" attitude is prevalent throughout other immigrant communities here?

(You should ask him about Brian Hoyer sometime. A Trump/Hoyer ticket would literally lead to bobby's death...)

I think so, too. I am pretty sure they wanted to dramatize the dog whistling and the outright white supremacy Trump entertains.

Trump/Hoyer for president with an endorsement from Andre Johnson and TJones set to be part of the cabinet.

Bobby would literally make his fingers bleed with all the repetitive posts he'd blast away on the BBS.

I know it is amongst Latinos in the Salinas Valley area are. In California, immigrants who "got theirs" and their descendants have votes alongside conservatives against immigrants. And there appears to be a cultural split between Latinos who speak spanish as their primary language and those for whom english is their primary language. Proposition 187 is an example of this.

Oh, you left off the cherry on top nominee - Teddy Bridgewater. If Trump named Teddy B Secretary of OFFense...

It never even occurred to me; and he laid it out in such plain, non-contentious terms - he did not dance around it. It was rather eye-opening, frankly; certainly a perspective I never would have considered.

What's sad is that you are joking, but this is a fairly serious matter. The kind of people who think that there is a comparison between bad professional athletes and nominees for president is part of the problem. Honestly though, it's cool, this country deserves the kinds of leaders they elect.

So far on Trump I have concluded conservatives hate him because he is a democrat. Democrats hate him because he is crazy conservative. Hispanics hate him because he wants to build a wall, Hispanics like him because he wants to build a wall. Muslims want him to keep out Muslims. Trump is everywhere and nowhere.

Meanwhile many on the Left keep on saying that Obama keeps on compromising with the GOP and hasn't really stood up to them.

If only there was some way of examining party platforms over the last 10-20 years and comparing stated legislative goals/proposals with the legislation ultimately passed....

    Propaganda is a powerful tool.

Great post as usual. Unfortunately I have to spread some reputation around before I can rep you again.

Even though I was born in this country immigration is an issue near and dear to my heart. When I was born my parents were here legally but only on student visas. In that sense I am an anchor baby. While people try to differentiate between the illegal and legal immigration they too often paint with too broad of a brush. Arguments like that we should change the constitution to do away with birth right citizenship is one example. That would end up targeting many like myself.

Another issue about this is that those who like myself don't look like the majority and have a strange sounding name have always been tagged with an otherness. I'm sure that you and many others have been asked "where you are from?" and when you've said "Texas" or some other place they ask again "but where are you really from?" Meaning another country besides the US. In that sense for many of us we are on guard regarding things targeting immigrants because we are constantly questioned about our own Americaness.

For Chinese Americans this should be particularly important since the first laws limiting immigration were targeted at Chinese and almost the exact same rhetoric targeting Mexicans were used to describe Chinese in the 19th C. Chinese are the only group that legally was prevented from immigrating by the Exclusion Acts.
