    fantastic addition if we found him on the street and put a uniform on him. any random guy that can get 4pts and 2asts in an nba game is a fantastic addition. i think i can get two points and almost 1 assist

    Honestly, I believe a lot of his ideas are great, and he's not "fool's gold," but how can we trust someone who is trying to piss down our backs and tell us its raining? Dude can't hide how bad Lawson is.

    Whats different about what he's trying to do and what a lot of members on here do with their cherry picked stats?

    Its ignorance at this point, except in Morey's case he knows its bull**** but also has a job requirement of not ****ting on his players

    He likes point guards who are good shooters. Sam Cassell, Kenny Smith.
    Point guards who play good pick and roll and pass the rock to the big fella.

    So you guys trying to tell me before the season started you knew Ty Lawson was going to be garbage? Ok. We going to play like we weren't all jumping like jackasses when our NBA apps were ringing that we got Lawson? Ok.

    I thought it was said somewhere that Morey didn't really think Lawson would fit in the system and wasn't high on him to begin with.

    Lol..people still upset over Lawson? He didn't cost us much...and Morey knew it was a gamble, why else did he get Ty to make next year a team option? That says it all right there...he didnt get Ty thinking he was a long term fit, he was a temporary piece that came cheap and needed to be done because Harden opened his mouth. Morey's focus has been on getting another star, for a while now.

    This was Morey talking about Lawson's preseason. I don't see much wrong with what he said.

    Lawson looked decent in preseason. He have fallen off a cliff since.

    Lawson looked like this during lockout in Europe. He was saving himself for the real deal - NBA, maybe he's saving himself for da real deal IN the NBA now, a contender. Or at least a team in playoffs picture. Kazaaam

    The vast majority of people on this board and rockets fans in general were happy about the Lawson deal.

    It hasn't worked out but let's not pretend everyone here hated the deal when it happened.

    Clutch: Trade targets - we've speculated Lowry & Lawson. I like Lowry more than Lawson. I've always heard they didn't think Lawson was a great fit for this team but did hear that Harden would like Lawson here. I'm guessing here that they are friends. That's the only thing I've heard. I'd be willing to bet they're looking at PG via trade.

    Lawson's game hasn't been right since he's been sober. Give him a drink and turn him loose on the court, lol.
