That's too bad. He would have been a good fit. I like Dak, and I think he can be similar to Russel Wilson. Problem is, he can be anywhere from a Wilson carbon copy, to a homeless man's Wilson. I like his attitude, but to me, he panicked under pressure at times.

LOL- so they were thinking of trading up for him in the 1st? but when he was available in the 2nd RD they did not get him.. Did he mean trade back up in the 2nd?
Either Braddock doesn't know what he is talking about or the Texans royally botched that one. Maybe he meant trading back up into the 2nd.
No, it was about his small hands I believe. They're doing the same thing to Cardale because of his social media flub.
It was small hands and small frame along with deep ball accuracy. It turned out to be true. Teddy is just a mediocre QB that was actually drafted a bit too high. As to Cardale, it's a totally different situation. Teddy was a flawed QB prospect, Cardale is a TE prospect pretending to be a QB.
All that talk about Teddy before the draft meantnothing. Just like this talk about the greatest QB in college football history grin::grinCardale Jones means nothing. Just like Theo, Cardale will lead his new team to the playoffs in his first 2 seasons.
In a sense you are right, but in a sense you are wrong. Maybe you forgot but most draftniks had him going in the top 5 picks overall. A TON of them had him going #1. Of course after the combine and senior day things changed and they started to get a bit more realistic. After the whole thing was over, we found out that NFL teams never had Bridgewater rated that highly so he only "fell" in the eyes of draftniks who initially overrated him. In that sense, it changed something. BTW the greatest QB in college football history is Tebow....I'm not sure Cardale has Tebow potential in the NFL.
Not a Cowboys fan, so no bias one way or the other. This seems like a really tough call. With Romo healthy, they need to use a high pick to address teh team elsewhere, and could be a really SB contender. Whereas a Goff, Wentz, etc. might take a year or two to settle in. tough call for them. Probably does make a lot of sense to grab a QB if they really think one grades out. They know more about Romo's health status than anyone, he's on the back-end of his career, and even at his peak always made that timely mistake.
