40% of the tiny percent of the GOP that voted in Nevada? Absolutely.

32% of the GOP that voted in South Carolina? Absolutely.

It should be really embarrassing for the GOP.

I can't believe any of you are giving Hillary such a generous chance of winning a general election. I just don't see it happening, whether against Trump, Rubio, or Cruz. I think you're seriously underestimating the level of distrust (and rightfully so) towards her. To me, she just reeks of sliminess and incompetence.

I think you're very insecure. Oh well. I'm still praying for Rubio.

I'm guessing to garner sympathy for the struggle his family has to go through dealing with that kind of burden. Not everyone is cut out to deal with that kind of thing.

The only Republican that has any chance in that election is Rubio. Clinton beats either Cruz or Trump. She beats Trump REALLY easily.

True, I'd be suspicious of a female president too if I were a drunk low income middle age balding male registered as republican

Can't wait to bump this in November. You speak so assuredly but you really have no idea.

Trump in particular has the best chance against Hillary because Trump will garner a not-insignificant share of votes from people who typically vote democrat.

Hillary would garner a not-insignificant share fo votes from people who typically vote Republican....and who typically don't vote at all. Anyway, we'll see what happens, but there's literally no candidate in this election, even if we expanded back to everyone who ran for either the Democratic or Republican nomination, that I would vote for Trump over and there are a lot of people like that.

    Again, voting for Trump is

    1. Voting for Hillary
    2. The same thing as voting for Steve-O or Johnny Knoxville.

i feel exactly the same way. except for cruz. i would vote trump over him.

i think putting cruz in the white house is akin to that movie the omen where the anti christ is taking over the world. and i cant have that.

I just see Cruz as someone who is ineligible to be president due to his Canadian birth so I haven't given him any more thought than that.

It should not be possible if Latinos were as dependable to vote based on their ethnicity as black people are, or as Democrats like to think that they are. Clearly they are not.

Actually, it is people who vote very largely based on their skin color or some other identity politics factor that are the ones in the Twilight Zone. In fact it is possible for everyone to choose a candidate based on relevant performance factors. The ones that it appears to not be possible for are those who direct their behavior using discrimination based on race as a primary determining factor.

So clearly some of you need to reassess whether Latinos can be depended on in this way. And of course that speaks well of the Latinos, not that any of this is any surprise to me.

To keep in perspective. Nevada entrance polls:

    REP Primary: 85% white, 14% non-white (8% latino)
    DEM Primary: 59% white, 41% non-white (19% latino)

I know when I want insightful commentary on how minority voting blocks will vote, I always look to mojoman's posts.

I will remember this when they get to AZ and NM and TrusTED Cruz pretends he can speak Spanish in advertising and speaking events...

The reason black people vote the way they do is pretty much because the other party does not listen to their concerns.

Not only that but you have important republican talking heads spitting out some pretty racist stuff annually.

It's pretty simple, most black folks think the GOP works AGAINST them and is actively against them to pander to a certain base. History would show that they are right to believe that and since the GOP as a whole doesn't listen to concerns that some black communities have, then why should they vote for them? This idea that black people only vote for black people is nonsense when you consider that none of them would vote for Ben Carson. If it was Carson vs Hilary/Sanders he'd still get pretty much none of that vote.
