Defense wasn't bad. Hood just hit some tough shots and offensive rebounding killed us. Shooting 41% is what cost us the game.
Clearly the PF position has been our biggest downfall...we basically dont have anyone to backup Howard or Capella. Smith hasnt been the same, Jones is absolute garbage (why is he still here?), DMo still injured. Utah isnt a bad team, they are actually really solid. We gave our best but because we dont have anyone at PF teams with bigs will kill us
I watched the game. I saw a team take 13 more shots and 3 more FTs and still lose. I saw the Jazz score 29 points off of only 14 turnovers versus the Rockets score 19 points of of 21 turnovers. The box score proves what I witnessed. **** DEFENSE.
Morey lost his touch. Couldn't even complete a minor trade at the deadline to upgrade the bench....smh
Smith has to be paired with an elite shooting big...Its why I think Smith and DMo wouldve been a fun off the bench combo...Terrence Jones is atrocious on defense and just flat overrated on offense. Also, what the heck was up with a lineup that feature our worst defenders ALL at the same time: Harden, Terry, Jones, Brewer...why????????

We need to retain Harden, D12, Ariza, and bring in Cousins and KD. Insert new coach, some shooters and championship. Guaranteed One can dream.
Do ü know why the rockets take more shots than other teams? Who plays at a faster pace the rockets or Utah. THe box score proves exactly what I thought. Ü just open in on your phone and think ü know what actually happened
Howard gave Hood too much room on that last three that gave the Jazz the lead. He always hits those dagger threes, he let him walk right into his shot. I would rather him risk getting blown by at that point over another Hood clutch three.
