Yeah but I mean just popping the crowd doesn't mean he has to go over for the crowd to be happy... People pop for Owens and than you'll see the same people cheering when Dolph or whoever goes over.

I'm a Texan, and I grew up a huge taker fan and I was pissed and shocked when the streak ended but even I realized after all of that that he should have done the job for Bray Wyatt. I can pop for him and at the same time realize the benefit of him not winning every match at 50 years old.

That being said you can't just have Shane go over clean on taker... Obviously something weird has to happen but I don't see people being outraged over taker losing anymore.

I think it works if you think of Undertaker (and Brock) as being force of natures outside of the standard alignment. Undertaker doesn't lose to mortals at Wrestlemania. It doesn't matter whether you put a face or a heel in front of him; he's duty bound to eliminate them.

Have to think that this is gonna be a good match to protect 'Taker as well; after what happened to Sting, they're not gonna want him to take anything too crazy. Couple chair shots, one Coast-to-Coast, but for the most part, he'll get to dominate, and not have to take any suplexes.

Or they could try to turn Undertaker Heel, so Reigns gets to retire him at WM33 as a face. Seems like a disaster in the making, but hasn't stopped them from barging ahead this year with crowning Roman.

Someone is gonna interfere in the Taker match.

Could be any of Sting/Cena/Angle to set up Undertaker's last match.

Though obviously they could do other things as well. Some whacky plot twist is coming though.

It is hell in a cell and Shane McMahon...

Shane is going to do something crazy. Get thrown off the cell into like 5 tables...on fire... or something.

Shane is going to have a stable behind him it'll either be Wyatts, Sting, Rollins, Ambrose, Rollins & Ambrose

Reunited Shield w/ Reigns as champ and Shane the guy at WM close

HIAC isn't the holy **** spotfest that it once was, I was a tinge disappointed when they made the stipulation. Only because we would not get a callback of this ShaneO' Classic

Didn't dean and rollins fall off the cell like two years ago? Sure it wasn't from the top but the cell nowadays is like twice as big as the old one.

They fell off the side while climbing down, maybe about 3/4 of the height of the cage, both onto tables. It was really good, but I think the feud ended that night because the Wyatts interfered and started a meaningless Dean v Bray thing. Shane's 50+ foot drops usually ended the match iirc, and that gif was from the big show last man standing match, with all those "which way did he go" promos.

Shane-O-Mac!!! That was an awesome open. I feel like I'm in High School again. I was hoping for Taker vs Sting but Shane vs Taker Hell in a Cell should be fun. No way Taker leaves Texas as the loser.

I thought Triple H's attack on Roman Reigns last night remind me of the feud between The Sandman and Tommy Dreamer back in the 1990's.

I would think Taker would still want to protect his legacy at Mania. Even though he's no longer X-0, there still aren't that many wrestlers with an X-1 record; especially not at Mania.

And there doesn't need to be a clear distinction between who to cheer for, anymore. Not since Cena is so dividing. Not since Reigns is so dividing. It's okay to boo a face or cheer a heel, in this day and age.

Taker only needed to play dirty against Brock because he couldn't overpower Brock like he could CM Punk, or HBK, or other past opponents. Taker will be cheered.
