I have half season tickets and my group has sold most of the games and i just watch from home

They look much worse in person

If they aren't gonna put in the effort I'm not gonna fight traffic and parking to watch them

would definitely be frustrated year in and year out from all the losses, but i'm already used to that so its probably not going to bother me that much since I still root for them during this abysmal season. Those "good guys" like scola, hayes, landry, ab, yao, etc are the main reason i love to root for this team.

Maybe we could get some type of curse or myth going.

    Ideas for curses?

Where is the "I would be furious beyond belief" option? Never win one again...No, that's not acceptable.

If I've made it this long, I don't think I'll ever do anything but love the Rockets.

Let me just say this: I'll take a team without any 'stars' who work hard over one with 1 or 2 'stars' who have WCSF / WCF potential over Championship potential but just not willing to work hard for it. I like to see hard working teams like the 07-08 Rockets who win 22 games in a row. I don't care that much about championships. I care about teams who work hard, play the right way and are fun to watch. This is by far the worst team I've ever watched.

If they keep playing hard and showing that they want to win, I'll be happy.

If they are good guys and play their a$$es off. I would ride or die with them. If they put it all on the line I will as a fan. Last year I was very defensive of the guys for trying every day and what they accomplished. These guys, they just don't give effort so people can take shots at THOSE WHO DO NOT GIVE EFFORT. Im not gonna let someone slam those who have played hard.

I'm with Houston teams all the way. I root for them because they rep the city. I'll root for them regardless of outcome...

but come on, man. It's not asking a lot to ask that more than one of our franchises win a title...and that they, collectively, win more than 2 after 50+ years of pro sports here.

I love to root for teams representing what I believe.

I can not demand a title, odds are too small.

But I can demand preparation and heart. Because that´s exactly what I have to give in my life everyday to be succesful.

I´ll be rooting for the rockets until my final day, there is no escaping to that. But I want a team that loves to fight, looks for creative ways to win and respects us as fans and the effort we do to get the money we need to follow the guys.

    That`s all I want.

"Good guys" does not necessarily mean "nice guys." Some people like tough hard nose guys to play for their team.

In the context of this thread, it just means guys you like. Who you like might not be the same as who other people like.

I am assuming that there are always guys you don't like on your team, but you still want them to do well because they are playing for your team. But once they are off the team, you feel relieve that you no longer have to cheer for someone you loath.

To me, if my team is full of guys I don't like, it takes a lot of fun out of rooting for the team.
