And Tyronn Lue was not a big name free agent coach, rather he was an assistant who was promoted same as JBB.
In a way they could, technically they could have just wanted to get more medical info on a potential RFA. They wouldn't have full access to test Dmo's back like they did in restricted free agency thus potentially saving them money over the summer by not committing big money to him.

told you so? this whole trade or lack thereof made you look more wrong than right. Don't want to proactively blast you, but when you say "told you so" you are just asking for it. And since when do you all of a sudden take everything at face value? Ill bet that D-mo gets a second opinion and his time-table to return is longer than yu think.
I have much more followers than bobby. But I got them by impersonating a pro sports team. It's called the long con. I'm doing it for many years, right when Twitter started and it wasn't big. I saw the opportunity, I knew it's gonna get big. Boom. Many years later - profit. I have more followers than Bobby.
Who the **** cares about Detroit, never said they were cheap - the point was that the Rockets were afraid of paying DMo and the offers he would get and sold him cheap. And if he is out longer, what is wrong with the Rockets doctors? DD
The teams have different incentives. Rockets want DMo to play. Pistons didn't want to make a bad deal. Doctors are human
Rockets don't want to PAY for DMO, Pistons were ok with paying - but thought it might be risky with his back. Neither team wants to pay for a guy with a bad back - whether his back is bad or not is TBD - doctors are notoriously risk averse. Dwight had this surgery at 26 and we gave him a max deal anyway. We are just going to have to wait and see and HOPE Dmo is healthy - that is the best case scenario for everyone. DD
You're just kicking your narrative down the road. Your narrative contradicts two teams. Rockets are clearly OK having him play, and they were OK paying him this summer, but thought it was more risky long term vs a #1 pick. This is backed up by another team, who has said the very same thing. You don't want anyone to mention Detroit's motivation for why they sent DMo back to us to get their 1st round pick back, because it doesn't fit your narrative. And you resort to cussing.
So where is the can now? I heard people were kicking it around It left Toyota center a few days back down 59S. Has the can reached bissonet?
I don't want to pick up the shiny new can. Dwight never got back to his Orlando after the surgery. But he's still a double double machine. Dmo? He won't get back to 12 and 4? Yikes. Let's wait for another can.
Yea, I would say Dwights surgery made him about 60-70% of the player he was, which is still pretty damn good. Dmo, was never really a good player to begin with, so 60-70% of that is pretty much a nightmare. Organization continues to show it knows exactly what it is doing.
