I hope for DMo's sake that Rockets doctors aren't being told to medically clear him to prove a point and possibly risk further injury. It's like the Rockets team doctors are afraid of losing their jobs or future careers.
" I don't think Detroit doctors felt it wasn't a situation where he could play now" Stupid foreigner question : that means Morrey in his opinion thinks DMO can play now? lol confusing syntax plz help.
Yes, the fears around D-Mo is the severity of the structural damage. Will this be something that will prevent him from ever playing a full season again? Is this something that is going to flare up more often than thought? IS this something that is going to limit his ability to a point where he will never reach the level of play pre-surgery? These questions are going to haunt D-Mo this summer in free agency. These questions will haunt D-Mo unless he proves otherwise.
I don't see how Morey could have any impact over doctors. Doctors have more job security than NBA GM.
thank you, repped all. Read it 5 times and still wasn't sure what the two negatives were supposed to mean lol Regardless imo, it would be wise for DMO to go take more tests. The experts gave the opinion that he will have problems either also now or in the future. And Morey can't deny that fact. Anyway we will see soon what happens and how DMO plays and for how many minutes.
DMo has been strangely quiet on Twitter and social media - his last tweet was a week ago? I wonder if they are working on a buyout agreement and he is being quiet to let them work out the details. I could see it getting messy if he thinks he is healthy and the Rockets don't let him play, he has spoken out before in a "Play me or trade me" way, could we be headed that way again? DD
I think that perhaps Rockets fans should be more patient and wait a few more days. It's completely reasonable that DMo would want to get a second opinion after he failed his physical. That would make most people paranoid. Better safe than sorry.
Could be, could be, but he played 4 in the RGV and looked great - seems he would be able to play in the NBA right away, all indications were that the worry was of a long term nature. So, when will we see the prodigal son return? DD
He did play in the D-League and looked good. But Pistons' medical staff has a pretty good track record and reputation, so you can't really take their word with a grain of salt. If they weren't satisfied with the condition of DMo's back, then there's definitely more than enough reason to really make sure one more time. I mean, I guess there could be some asymptomatic issues that DMo wouldn't feel. I hope he returns to the court soon though to up his FA market value a little bit.
How many people live in Houston? Could 3 million pissed off Lithuanian win a brawl vs Houston's population?
