A lot of dirt being thrown Morey's way, unjustifiably so IMO. In fact, it's absolutely ridiculous. DM's otherworldly skills have been subject to Les's near impossible schemes/whims/ timetables. At worst, DM has been an enabler. He positioned us to where we were on our way to winning the title when Yao went down against the Lakers. Then while Les solidified his business contacts overseas, we hung onto Yao forever,knowing he wasn't going to be right again. See history of foot injuries to big men in the NBA. After the degradation of timing/ assets, DM is given the task of reloading...not rebuilding...the safe move at the time... Instead of signing Goran (tossing out that BS excuse about player option for public consumption), we have the PR charade that was JLin thrust upon us (including all the lunatics) by Les. Again, so he can keep 100's of millions flowing in from business contacts in the far east...Les's top priority. Up to the task, Les has charged him with, Morey proceeds to pull the proverbial rabbit out of the hat with Harden and voila..all pretenses at this "rebuild" are gone... Enter Dwight..and it's on. But, patching together instant gratification doesn't allow for a margin of error.(and it doesn't embed a culture) The problem is that no matter how brilliant Dr. Frankenstein is, he's still got Jerry Jones with a gun at his back.
i've been saying les is the problem for a long time. les has us on a mediocrity treadmill in order to guarantee profit. never willing to bite the financial bullet of losing to rebuild the right way.

I totally agree. I remember he got interviewed by Bill and Clyde and he basically was telling them the way our coach need it to coach his team. I was so surprised i knew Morey expect that from our coaching staff but sadly Les is in the same boat . I don't expect them to get a coach because maybe thats one of their pitch for Durant to let him choose his new coach.
So you pretty much take the reasons people are frustrated with Morey and say it is all Les' fault. OK.
