You've been watching too much Fox News my friend. The myth on planned parenthood selling baby parts to the highest bid was thoroughly debunked... By a TEXAS GRAND JURY nonetheless lol
When nearly everyone view Congress as a do nothing body with single digit approval rating, and yet continue to vote (or NOT vote at all) the same type of folks over and over that end up doing nothing, they are sitting on the side line. What's that phrase- doing the same thing over and over and expecting different result is insanity. So again, perhaps that's where Trump and maybe Bernie is different. They could get more people engage to care. Remember that American don't care about voting. They probably care more about the next iphone than the next president. And just to be clear, my ref is to moderate candidates - the like of Clinton and Rubio, not moderate folks like you.
He's a Cruz supporter. If he says the same thing over and over, much like his idol, it'll turn into less of a lie.
He says that kind of stuff enough, just no one has really noticed yet. He has Republican street cred...
Kasich had a reputation as a right wing ideologue for many years until the current crop of crazies took control of the Republican Party. Kasich was always viewed as an uncompromising during his time in Congress. But when idiots like Ted Cruz and Donald Trump become standard bearers, previously unelectable candidates like Kasich start to look reasonable. Also, if Kasich ever grows in the polls, he'll get destroyed over his association with Lehman Brothers. You can't be a major part one of the most visible failures of the banking system and expect to skate by.
Emily’s List President Stephanie Schriock, who outed Republican politicians for their bad deeds at a recent celebration of the group’s 30th anniversary. “Make no mistake, this is your father’s Republican Party. This is the exact same trans-vaginal ultrasound, all white-guy committee chair, aspirin between your knees Republican Party we have been fighting for thirty years,” she said. “They don’t support women. They don’t trust women. They don’t respect women so don’t tell me that there is no war on women. And don’t bother asking for a truce. http://plunderbund.com/2015/03/08/kasichs-ohio-story-hides-harm-hes-caused-state/
I still think that's very unlikely, if Kasich drops out, it'll hurt Trump. The closer it gets to a one on one race, the less likely he is of winning anywhere. His supporters are a special brand of r****d and there's nothing that would put more people on the Trump bandwagon.
Hopefully Cruz can make a comeback. I'd rather Bernie or Clinton face Cruz than Trump. As much of a joke Trump would be in the White House, I think he gets a lot of the white working class vote that would typically vote Democratic. Among Democrats, I think the nationalist racist thing would resonate most with that segment of the electorate. Cruz wouldn't get anything but hard core conservatives so he concerns me next to nothing.
Just when there was a glimmer of hope that someone on the right was even moderately sane, Kasich has to say something that incredibly stupid.
And what's especially sad is that Trump can call a woman disgusting for taking a break to prepare breastmilk for her baby- one of the overlooked but more contemptible things he's said- and not have to pay anything for it while Kasich will be excoriated by the press.
Well yeah, Trump is a scumbag and his supporters are, as I said, a special brand of r****d. There's no point in talking about the awful things that Trump says, no respectable person would vote for him to begin with and his short bus of supporters will support him no matter what.....hell they likely support him BECAUSE he's an awful person.
At this point, I might not. There's really not any candidates left that I would feel good about voting for among the 2 main parties. I would have voted for Rand Paul if he won the Republican nomination but that didn't happen. I'll probably either not vote or vote Gary Johnson just to help out the Libertarian party's numbers. That is unless Trump is nominated. If Trump wins the Republican nomination I'm voting for whoever the Democrats nominate.
