btw: Thornton doesn't work. He's on a vet minimum. It's an NBPA no-no to pay below the minimum, even in a buyout.

Don't let those details get in the way. It's like election season and you are derailing DDs platform: Les is a cheap b*stard! Morey chases rainbows and treats people like assets! We should follow the SAS model! DMO and Parsons could have been Big Three material! Freedom!!!!!

For what? Because I speak the truth, or my mind about my favorite team? Why does that make it worse?

It is my opinion that Le$ Alexander is a cheapskate....let's see if he tries to get under that tax line or simply goes all in and let's the team play to it's potential this season.

I do think Parsons could have been the third star, or close enough to it.

Because you act like a whiny, spoiled child who had his favorite toy taken away. You posted 100 times pissing and moaning in every thread about your boy DMo being traded...literally crapping in every thread in the GARM to make sure EVERY person on this mb knew YOU were upset. And when the trade gets recalled because your boy has a wrecked back, you post troll threads like this.

Didn't always agree with you (see VSpan, Ryan Bowen and countless other players you have incorrectly championed over the years) but at least back then your posts were tolerable.

This not a troll thread - I even posted that DMO might get bought out.

I am happy he is back - and was very upset he was traded for peanuts, because I think he can really help the team and should get the chance to get healthy and try.

And I am convinced that Les is the primary thing holding this team back, and that Morey needs a basketball person over him to help make the right chemistry type of decisions.

Les could always sue Detroit for providing false medical opinions and test results that he's unfit to be cleared to play.

Les likely will have someone review their medical reports. If our medical specialists can prove DMo is fit to play, then Les can sue for material damages amounting to the Tax hit that it caused.

He won't sue other owners, but he will do something to get under that Lux tax line - that has been and is his MO.

Wow, Owner Alexander is cheap because he, like all but Lebron er Gilbert, did all they could last week to sneak below the tax line?

And just how much do they need to 'lose' in salaries to get clear, if indeed anyway possible?

Well, you don't trade away a RFA because you are afraid of getting "Asiklinned" by another team.

You KEEP your talent - and the number 1 thing that matters is "Does it make the team better" if the answer is yes, you pay it.

You get refuted... but keep posting the same nonsense...

Les is cheap? yet we have like the 4th highest payroll in the league... The man is willing to spend money - he's just not willing to waste money.. are you any different?

Parsons? 15 PER for 15M/yr.... yep that has 'superstar' written all over it... lol!

Being "Asiklinned" requires you to not have full bird rights on an RFA. Rockets have DMo's full bird rights. In simple terms, an first rounder coming off a rookie scale contract cannot be poison-pilled. DD doesn't understand what "Asiklinned" means.

And both the Trade and the Void were because two separate NBA Teams thought the Pick was better than a hurt DMo.

Can they even get under the line without trades?

The RFA was denied ingress into Bullard/Horry-land due to back issues that, by all reason, made the trade sensical.

I hated the trade; now (I think) I hate it having been rescinded. I haven't seen any of the back reports/MRIs/whatever, and wouldn't know what to look for (despite five spinal surgeries, myself). Apparently doctors from two locales disagreed with what they interpreted.

    Get over your OTT self.

It's a troll thread because it's a passive aggressive attempt to hide your agenda behind a veiled point. It would have been more respectable if you just simply made a thread about how you think Les is a cheapskate instead of hiding it behind a thread about who's getting bought out. Either subject would have been fine to discuss and people can argue the merits of either, but making this thread about who should be bought out when really you're just itching for ways to gripe about les is obvious and it's what Blake is referring to as trollish and childish.

Man up and quit being passive aggressive.
