Yeah, Thonton really needs added incentive to shoot Hope the Rox can figure this thing out... unfreaking real!
C'mon, pass or fail, I have to at least try to interject a little bit of levity when bringing up an uncomfortable truth. Not trying to be flippant. Brewer has been by far the worst Rocket this year with exception to Ty Lawson. It's funny how we complain about shooting consistency of a guy who doesn't get consistent minutes, WHILE a guy who does get consistent minutes in front of him is consistently terrible, offense, defense, and especially +/-. Brewer might not be movable but he is certainly bench-able. Goes for Terry as well. But our now fired coach went cruise control on camp, and our current interim coach is going with what is safe and comfortable for him as well. We got the discombobulated team thing down really well without Marcus Thornton. Not fitting, poor shooting, poor defense? That could describe literally everyone on the team.
Sad that Marcus now hates the Rockets for all the **** we pulled. I hope we buy him out and he gets solid minutes on another team he's a great player and should get a good contract next season
If he's not bought out over under on how long until Ariza beats his ass? LoL Every time some one blows by thorton look at Ariza's face, priceless. People won't talk about it cause not much is expected but Thorton might be the worst defender I've ever seen LoL
don't know why Thornton would be upset, he comes back to a team where he was taking the third most shots he would have gotten hardly any at the Pistons

Ariza has his own problems, mainly his own defense and the three other guys he plays a lot with: Brewer, Beverley, Harden. Go check out, for example, the last 5 losses. 1 Marcus was DNP, the others Marcus is the only one that actually has the Rockets winning while on the court, while the others including Ariza have the Rockets losing while their on the court. Especially Corey. But also Beverley. Seriously has Beverley been able to keep anyone in front of him this year?
Welcome back to winning a game one night and a DNP-coaches decision the next. Woo hoo I'm sure he's stoked.
that was before the trade deadline rotatoin restrictions. im hoping the team is a lot less r****ded now knowing they cant trade anyone.
He's terrible. You can't put the two of them out there together. And he doesn't consistently make up for it on the offensive end, either. At least you know within the first 3-4 minutes whether you're going to get Good Thornton or Trash Thornton that night. So there's that.
but he at least hustles on defense, and if used properly can be a scoring spark off the bench. if this team isnt gonna play defense they might as well let thornton chuck the ball. dont need to remind anyone the bench has a bad habit of losing any big lead we have. it is pointless to have thornton back if the team is as stupid as it were befor the deadline. let shope thats not how it pans out
