We got nothing to lose. Not like we were gonna get a good player with the Detroit pick. DMo was cleared by the Rockets. No reason why they wouldn't clear him again. We should just appreciate him this season because I have never been in favor of tanking. A 40% Dmo helps us much more than Tjones and Josh SMith.

Who do you think comes out of this looking uglier, SVG or Morey? It depends on how you interpret the situation.

Did Morey pull a used car sales trick, hoodwinking SVG to buy a lemon?
    or
Did SVG weasel out from a deal he realized he should never have made?

We may never know what really happened. It would be interesting to see how the media portray it, and how both sides tell their stories.

Morey is still the author of this mess of a roster - let's not forget that...

The way Dmo explains things, it sounds like SVG had buyers remorse.

I don't understand. How is it a mess of a roster and it's practically the same roster the got us to the WCF?

A first rounder next year helps them more than a crippled DMo though...

Is that legal? If not the NBA should investigate. There is no reason that should have happened.

With DMo being a free agent this summer, I would think he's going to go all out to get on the floor and prove he can play. Not saying he hasn't been working towards that already, but there is a lot at stake for DMo. Notice how Howard is playing more this season? It's contract time.

The Rockets doctors should be held accountable for this. Obviously they certified DMo fit enough to pass the Detroit physical and he wasn't. It's either that or they simply got cold feet and were looking for any way possible to void the deal.

Since this was a league appointed doc it's likely our doc's just dropped the ball big time ruining his value and potentially his career not to mention hurt the Rockets TDL efforts.

Well DMo will actually have to suit up healthy and play big minutes effectively for the first time in a full year for it to be up for debate...

Well you'd never tell them that was the reason, but he is coming off surgery so all that would have to happen was some doctor say that there is a potential for re-injury and you are off the hook. Personally I don't think it was buyers remorse so much as it was that potential for injury down the line. They wanted DMo long term, if they couldn't be sure he'd be healthy long term, they didn't want the deal.

Because a bad back D12 is still a top 5 Center in the NBA while a fully healthy DMO is just a role player.

How do you know Dwight's back is worse that DMo's? Have you seen the medical reports?
