    The best part of this? We keep that Denver second round pick that went to Philly to dump the Joel Anthony contract.

    I was pretty disappointed that pick went away, so that is the good news from this.

    how is he not being used properly. he gets the freedom of being a chucker like hes always been throughout his career. If hes not hitting, hes not doing anything else.

    This sucks for us, but honestly, it sucks for D-Mo even more. The Pistons probably just cost him about $50,000,000 over the life of a new contract. The conspiracy theorist in me says this was on purpose so they could come in the off-season and lowball him.

    That may or may not be true. Detroit may have just had long term concerns with it which is no guarantee anything bad will happen. Also, they could have used a failed physical as an excuse to do away with the trade because they saw their season slipping away and wanted to keep the pick or any number of reasons.
