    Nothing good would come out if the trade is cancelled. Not good for DMo. Not good for the Rockets. Probably not good for Detroit because they thought DMo could help them.

    56-108 with Thomas as the coach. After he stepped down as coach and remained team president, they were also 56-108.

    Thomas signed Brown as head coach for 5 years $50+ million. Brown lasted one year. Great heart!

    That was a well run organization with a lot of "heart" - spent a lot of money for a 112-216 record. :rolleyes:

    Not to get off topic but Morey seems to be battling weight issues. He's yoyo'd up and down weight ever since he got here and I hope he's ok.

    It is more about "calculated" risk.

    But REAL risk is moving on from DMO and taking a calculated risk to get KD and another max free agent.

    It is insane to say that Morey is risk averse. The "safe" "risk-averse" strategy would be to do what most mediocre franchises do and just keep spending FA dollars on mediocre players to say you are trying or to tear it down and start from scratch. Morey's "flexibility" strategy is incredibly risky.
