yeah, cause the name "DMo" conjures up images of a 7 ft tall Luis Scola who can shoot 3's.

Ummm Dwight is so much better than DMo and his value is clearly more valuable than Dmo.

    Apples to oranges.

Superstar to average at best role player.

    Big time difference

Dwight with half a broken back averaged three times as many rebounds and twice as many points as DMo

Ppl like you are why I said forget his name is dmo.

You guys can't think rationally because you love the guy so much.

Luis Scola in Houston was 5x the player dmo is.

I like dmo but jeez the guy had like 70 good games in Houston and some of you are acting like we lost Hakeem or Yao.

Scola could actually rebound the ball somthing dmo seems like he'll never be able to do even if he can get back on the court full time and I have my doubts.

I hope dmo does not come back and has a very productive career in Detroit I really do, but I want that pick, we need some real young talent on the team. Hopefully Morey doesn't screw the pick up.

This is the kick the can down the road trade that is classic Morey. DMo's injury just made it easier to choose which can to kick.

Doesn't "Rockets must approve" put the Rockets in the driver's seat?

Morey isn't Satan, come on. I just don't think he knows how to build a proper team.

Exactly, let's get History to repeat.

Force our risk averse org to take one with DMo and reap the rewards.

So many people would rather lose a first round pick to get back an oft- injured player and a chucker with bad defense?

That Pistons pick is looking like a number 12-13.

As much as I love Donatas, he is a franchise ending risk If you give him 5 years and significant money. His injury is troubling to even the most biased Donuts supporter.

No matter how you slice it, Daryl did not make a bad deal here. Sure, we probably won't find a guy as good as D-Mo at 12-13, but you need to remember, GMs around the league put incredible value on these picks. It is exactly how we got James Harden.

(In my heart, I want this trade to be voided)

I did post right after the news broke that Detroit and Houston were looking at this deal: half the middle-aged white men on this board would commit suicide if Dmo were traded.

Hyperbole, yes....but they don't want to let go.

I still wonder if Detroit is fishing for excuses to re-work the protection on the pick.

They know it's a bad trade, and they are losing games now...
