What is a routinely NBA physical like during a trade? I'm just wondering how he was cleared to play here and failing physicals in Detroit.

*Insert D-Mo workout pic, "I'm coming back soon, working hard."

    Prob is buyers remorse.

The realize there not making the playoffs this year and just gave up a lottery pick for a guy with 80 good games in 4 seasons who hasn't played a single playoff minutes on a team that has never not been to the playoffs.... Not to mentions he hasn't played ball in a year with a bad back, plus he's a free agent so they have to pay him.

SVG blew it on this trade and he's feeling the heat to maybe go back on the deal. Almost no one thought it was a good deal for the Pistons.

That was because of Tobias Harris....and they appear to be right since he has scored 16 pts and 21 pts in his first two games shooting over 50%

Yes, but 2 seconds and Dmo for a 1st in a weak draft is a bad deal IMO. The deal as is, is fine. If they want more we might as well roll the dice with keeping Dmo, seeing if he can get healthy and contribute in the playoffs at a high level, deeming him worthy of re-siging possibly (if they can agree on a fair deal)

Espn gave them a C- and the rockets an A

    I'll take ESPN over RealGM

    But not by much

This is probably not a black and white thing. If it was so obvious, it wouldn't have come down to this, right?

So it's probably a matter of degree in which the doctors would make educated guess of the probability of DMo being fully healthy again.

Exactly - and Dwight had a more invasive surgery, but apparently folks are ok with giving him an extension.

If Detroit had not lost its first two games (so far) after the All Star game, would the Pistons be thinking, "Our first rounder. My God. How do we get out of this?"

I mean, did SVG slap Dmo on the back: "Good to have you here!"

    "Ooooowwwww!"

How many players in this draft can we be 75% confident are better than a HEALTHY DMo? Obviously, this is a hypothetical, b/c DMo is not likely to be healthy. I just can sense people starting to overrate basketball 1st round picks. Happens every year. Bust rates are so high - even for non-Top 3 lottery picks.

Dmo is not dwight Howard first of all.

Secondly when we signed dwight there was a sample of him playing with the lakers for a full season.

Dwight is a better player than dmo and as of right now the healthier player.

One guy played 30+ minutes Friday the other guy was in NYC seeing a back specailist.

Which is why Morey made the trade in the first place. But, Morey is the Great Satan according to you and the Chicken Little Spin Class.

Weird how he defends Detroit, but slams Morey while describing them both as doing the same thing.

He also has said he is going to root for Detroit to win so our Draft Pick's value decreases.

That's your opinion and it may be true but either way the rockets won that trade if it goes through.

What looks to be a pick in the 10-17 range for an expiring contract player who's been injured for a year and not in the rotation.

Leave the name dmo out of it and it's easier for some to realize what a steal that deal is.
