??? You told us we have to measure the trade now.

No we don't. Not when we are talking about an injured player and a draft pick. No one (no one) is saying you must judge the success of the trade now.

weren't you the same person who thought that agents didn't talk with other teams to search the future market of their clients?

Yes fans can judge trades based on market value and what they know right now.

Otherwise maybe we should all refrain from posting anything.
Unless YOU are personally a coach, a scout and a basketball savant what are you doing right now posting opinions about basketball then?

And right on cue. When Bobbythegreat realizes there are valid position besides his own, he slowly responds less and less.

I'm really going to miss Motiejunas. One of the handful of players I liked on the team.

Should have gotten more post-up opportunities if it wasn't for Howard.

I honestly wonder if some people work for Rockets PR department. The crazies around here would spin the Barkley trade into being just Barkley for Mark Bryant straight up.

There is literally nothing valid about your spin whatsoever. You refuse to even accurately describe the trade because it's THAT indefensible. I've already responded to you at length and it didn't help, why would I continue? You are hell bent on spinning a terrible deal that was done solely to save Les a bit of money into some kind of good deal for the future.

Anyway, you can feel free to spin and distort reality all you like, but I see no reason to waste more time and energy on someone like that.

How can you judge an injured player with no significant court time? You can't even put an value on DMo with any accuracy right now.

So, tell me...what is DMo's value RIGHT NOW. How much would you sign him? Would it help if you talk to a bunch of other teams? What would they say?

I did accurately describe my interpretation of the trade, in like my first post to you. You refuse to accept it. You are mad and won't even have a discussion, unless we implicitly agree with everything you say.

That is why you are claiming someone is spinning the trade...when it is just a freaking discussion about it.

Bobby....this is embarrassing....like seriously, this is sad to watch. You made an ass of yourself, eat crow, and move on. Be Andy Petit, not Roger Clemens.

Arm Tellem traded for DMo giving up a first and was prepared to give up a top 10 in a loaded draft.
That says that DMO's back even after the setbacks is not DONE.

How I? As what? A GM who tries to lowball him or as his agent?
Malakas DMO's agent : give us 17 per or we take the qo and you can't trade us after AND we go wherever we choose and we take advantage of the cap rise.

Malakas GM of a team : You are hurt I give you 13/4 for security.

Malakas GM of another team with assets that needs a pf i.e Toronto: I will give you NY/DEN +Ross
    NY/DEN is top 10.

Part of the problem here is that your "interpretation" of things is divorced from reality....which is why IMO it's nothing but spin.

What's even funnier is that you consider it spin if someone accurately describes what the trade literally was rather than ignoring reality and going with your "interpretation"

    If I were the Bucks GM (I wish) I would give DMO Monroe's contract. 17 2+1 p.o
P.O is the best a player can hope for. Or if he wanted 4 or 5 but he wouldnt'.

What was my interpretation then? Tell me. You're judgement is impaired right now from intense hatred of the trade. I'm willing to bet you are incapable of rereading my posts and accurately explaining my take.

If you want me to restate it, I will, if you can make me believe you will actually listen to my take and stop spinning everything you hear into a rather lame polarizing exercise of "He's on my side" vs "He doesn't get it."

Rockets fans are spoiled because Morey rarely loses trades. Welcome to the real world.
Noone is perfect now move on. What happened happened. Morey is too good of a GM to be judged solely on one bad sell -low trade.

Now got to find the best use of the remaining assets, bad contracts, and the pick.

Your "interpretation" of the trade is ignoring about half of the trade in order to make it sound better than it really is. Pretty obvious.

Basically you have an indefensible trade and you are doing your best.

Don't get me wrong, you're doing a great job of PR spin though, if I knew nothing about what the trade actually was or the composition of the Rockets before and after the trade, I might actually be convinced by your story.

See when you spend months incorrectly trying to lecture people about how magical a player DMO is, and smarter people politely correct you. You need to listen to them to avoid these embarrassing situations.

Nice. Not even close to the way I view the trade.

See, I told you that you would spin someone else thoughts to match your belief system regarding the trade.

You need everyone's take to fit within a single polarizing line of thought...one side is Bobbythegreat, and the other side is everyone else is doing mgmt PR spin.

But, that's what you do. Good for you. I'm glad I could help you build an impenetrable (and safe) barrier around your ideas.
