Biggest loser when the Magic traded away Harris, or when Memphis traded away Green?

So obvious Bayless simply either doesn't like Houston or doesn't like a particular player (Howard).

Seems a lot of people are worried Detroit is going to start climbing.

To paraphrase Lowe on his podcast today: "I think Detroit is actually going to be worse this year after the trades, but these are great future moves."

Bwhahaha man I've been on here for a hot minute and only a few of y'all are hammering that opinion on here. But guess what, again the Rockets organization didn't feel that way. If they did, he would still be a Rocket. Plain and freaking simple.

That's a simple minded take, but I don't expect more than that from you so we can just end it there. I'm glad you are happy about the Rockets getting worse at the trade deadline, you're a true fan.

So Morey is simple minded huh.
And **** the hell up with this True Rockets Fan BS.

And nobody is happy about this damn season.

I knew you would play this card when Dmo got traded.

Bwhahaha joker you were wrong so just admit it.

Back to the main topic, of course Skip would say we were the biggest loser.

To be fair, this is an overly simplistic take. I highly doubt DMo is gone because the front office believes TJ > DMo. Highly. There are many other factors at play beyond basketball ability.

Ignore him, he's so butt hurt cuz he was dead wrong and lost all credibility. He'll never stop running his mouth cuz he's a child. Mr. January15th is always right and everyone else is always wrong. LOL

Same schtick he pulled in the Texans forum.

On some subconscious level, I think Morey got rid of DMo because DD was a DMo fan.

No, Morey had a cheapskate boss who was demanding that they get under the luxury and a team full of garbage that no one would help him out by taking without having him pay a premium for it. He had to pay Philly a 2nd just to take a guy with a non guaranteed deal off his hands. No way he could have gotten rid of complete garbage like Jones, Brewer, or Lawson. He did what he had to do in order to make Les happy and it was at the cost of the team. Now we can hope the Rockets miss the playoffs to keep their first round pick and hope that by some miracle Durant picks Houston over better destinations elsewhere. That's what we're down to.

All you front office slurpers are the same.

The narrative always shifts to how Morey can do no wrong.

You know what I heard yesterday when we traded Dmo away? Everybody was upset at the deal. The Morey jerkers however, fell back on
It was crickets from then on. I think each and every one of you needs to practice independent thought. You place so much faith in a guy that hasn't played the game even at a collegiate level, if he has played the game at all. He is not a top GM no matter how hard you guys try, because outside of Houston people don't gauge success by how many times you can flip a player. Back when he said coaching doesn't matter, didn't give a rat's ass about chemistry, you guys were with him. Now that the results speak for themselves your selective memory has caused you to ignore all this.

Worse than the Bulls with no Butler? lol

Besides in case people don't know Detroit isn't a team that was out of the playoffs and trying to sneak in. They were very much in the playoffs around 6th seed until they lost a couple of games lately and fell HALF A GAME out just before the deadline.

Now they need to find a backup pg, and try to assimilate Harris in. But if you had seen Ily , you would understand even if Harris isn't taht great, he's an upgrade to Ily.

But I'm planning later to listen to what Zach has to say on that matter because I really value his opinion.
    Repped. Great post.
I'm a big Morey fan but he's no God. People are trying to rationalise this trade because denial is a normal human reaction.

I'm not saying they view Jones as being the better player either KlutchQT. Even though Jones has out worked him for the starting job several times. So to be fair if that was my point, then its not simplistic at all.

Jones will not be a Rocket after this season either. I know there are other factors. One example is both players will be looking to cash in this off season. The Rockets will be going after Durant hard.

To paraphrase Lowe and David Thorpe as they were talking about NBA GMs on the podcast today:

"You have these guys like Vlade who have no idea what's going on then you have brilliant guys who know what they are doing like Daryl Morey"

Look if you don't like the guy, you don't like the guy, but don't act like thinking the guy is good at his job is some sort of homeristic, stupid view that no one else out there remotely believes.

    This. 10 thousand times.

Loved this post. Thank you LosPollosHermanos.

How soon can we get rid of the Morey Only Fans? These are not Rocket fans, these are MOFs.
