Still hasn't hit me he isn't a Rocket anymore. The Rockets drafted him..I'm not even going to hate on him he should be starting. Good luck DMo

If we had to ship out two guys, why did it have to be Dmo and Thornton?

This season just became a little more unwatchable for me.

Rockets made a mistake which they gonna regret. I hope in the future I can quote me saying this. I'll go on a limb and go full Dan Gilbert, saying that DMo will make finals before Rockets do.

Like DMO alot. Barring injury, he should do well. Seem to be the type of player that work well in a system that move and share the ball.

He's fitting right in like he did in Houston so far:

When you are Detroit, you gamble on health and grab talent when you can. DMo has a skill set that fits perfectly Drummond. That is a potentially lethal one two punch in the front court.

That's the very reason why I hate losing him. I hate it.

Likewise, the deal was not bad value but it's frustrating. Have to wonder if Morey is gun-shy after going through so many injuries with big men (Yao, Dwight) AND by the Parsons restricted FA ordeal.

If DMo gets healthy this year I don't think it's out of the question that someone will pay him $15m/yr, and the thought of that probably scared Morey because he doesn't want to risk Harden's prime on guys with injury problems.

That's the gamble and maybe the Rockets have more insight into it.

I think it was a major gaffe to trade him - his skillset was so unique - and such a mismatch, he was destroying players like Anthony Davis in the post - guys that can do that are not people you refuse to pay, you pay them, you play them and you enjoy watching them.

I will be watching Detroit games a bit to check in on him for sure - he is going to get paid this summer by some team that is actually trying to win.

I personally like his game and style more than anyone on the current Rockets team - I hate ISO crap - love how GS and SA play, and wish we had an org that valued winning basketball.

This is not some new injury. DMo has been ok since the start of February. Van Gundy just sent him to get checked out by a specialist to make sure. He says he's already available to play.

Rockets aren't playing the Pistons anymore this season, which is kind of a bummer. Would have loved DMo going bananas on T-Jones.

Eff it, I'll join you in this. If we pick another Marcus Morris or Royce White (or Jones :p) this is an absolutely awful trade..

You're embarrassed for someone who likes watching winning basketball. Yep, you are indeed a Rockets fan, lol.

You know those YouTube videos of people recording themselves doing exercises but doing a flip and landing on their head or dropping a 500lb barbell through the floor

Imagine those videos but made by the same man every year for a decade.

That is abut as good a description of Double Ds armchair GM/coach career I can muster.

    Kind of busty...hee hee.

DMo not suited up tonight, not sure he's even in the arena. Maybe still in NYC following his physical. Thornton absent as well.
