Cruz campaign caught spreading lies about Ben Carson dropping out on the night of Iowa Caucus. Cruz campaign caught sending "official looking letters" scaring Iowa voters on their voting history. Cruz campaign caught spreading false rumor Trey Gowdy switched his endorsement from Rubio to Cruz. Cruz campaign caught photoshopping a picture to make Rubio look like hes shaking hands with Obama. Cruz campaign accused of lying by Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, and Trey Gowdy. Question for MojoMan: Aren't you troubled by Cruz being connected to all the above in just a matter of a couple of weeks? Do you still support him?
i already have said it once but ill say it again. out of all candidates that have won a primary or caucus in the last 4-5 elections he is the least likable out of all for me. i would vote for even huckabee or rick perry over this guy.
Are you kidding? He probably hacked together that terrible photo chop where Obama looms with the unnatural size of a demon. Totally looks like a Chick pamphlet, btw.
stealing (?) an originally funny joke, using it this poorly and possibly running it into the ground makes me depressed.
If you want to apply the same standards to Ted Cruz that you apply to Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, which is literally no standards at all, then of course that would be an appropriate basis from which you could credibly offer these sorts of complaints. It is virtually impossible to exaggerate the constant dishonesty and hypocrisy of you people. On one hand, for your favorites, effectively no standards of any kind are applied. To your enemies, you effectively apply a zero tolerance approach, where the most minuscule and trivial matters are hailed as issues of major and even a disqualifying level of concern. Certainly I support Ted Cruz. Why wouldn't I? Because the likes Donald Trump and Marco Rubio have lowered themselves to baseless name-calling and hysterical recriminations? Or because you and others like you have joined in? Too funny. When you people start applying the same standards to your favorites as you do to Ted Cruz, then you people will have some credibility on these matters. Right now, your hypocrisy and your flagrantly dishonest tactics are altogether too clear.
It takes integrity to apologize after the election for the lies you told right before the election! Oh brother...
You do know I cannot stand either Obama or Clinton don't you? I mean check out the threads on Clinton I started if you don't believe me. I'm a REPUBLICAN and would vote for any of the candidates left...EVEN Trump if need be. Any of the Republican candidates left EXCEPT Cruz that is. He's slimy. He's not a consensus builder because he's just about universally disliked by everyone in BOTH parties. He's just another divider capable of bomb throwing and not much else. He has NOTHING in common with Reagan who would probably be disgusted by Cruz's actions in Congress and during this campaign.
In psychology and logic, rationalization or rationalisation (also known as making excuses[1]) is a defense mechanism in which controversial behaviors or feelings are justified and explained in a seemingly rational or logical manner to avoid the true explanation, and are made consciously tolerable – or even admirable and superior – by plausible means.[2] It is also an informal fallacy of reasoning. According to the DSM-IV, rationalization occurs "when the individual deals with emotional conflict or internal or external stressors by concealing the true motivations for his or her own thoughts, actions, or feelings through the elaboration of reassuring or self serving but incorrect explanations.
Or Murdoch like Trump said. Either way the poll was slanted to push an agenda and give the media a talking point.
And yet you spew the same lies and crap that the Democrat left and the leftist media spew, apparently without any additional consideration, as demonstrated by your initial five points. You even use their talking points. "He's slimy". What a strange thing for an independently thinking person to say. Rather, you are just regurgitating their talking points. Or "He's a divider," and "He's not a consensus builder," which suggests you want more business as usual, more of the same in Washington, even though it is literally ruining our country in many ways, right before out eyes. According to you, Cruz is evil because he did not go along with the rest, embracing the agenda of the establishment donor class, while lying to and betraying his constituents by not representing their interests the way that he promised he would. If you are a Republican, you are clearly an establishment Republican. A Kasich supporter, maybe? Jeb? As far as Reagan, the Republican establishment loathed Reagan for challenging Gerald Ford in 1976, every bit as much as establishment Republicans loathe Ted Cruz now. Reagan ran on a platform of radical change and did not build "consensus" by having chummy meetings with the establishment leadership of Congress. Rather he brilliantly took his case to the American people, who lit a fire under the behinds of the business as usual crowd in Congress. This is the same approach that will be required for there to be even the possibility of real change now, because Congress is in the pockets of their donors and is not going to instigate the change we need themselves. And at some level, you have to know that. There is not the slightest chance that Reagan would have accomplished what he did (this thread is not about Reagan and I am not going to engage with anyone here about the merits of his agenda in this thread) by playing friendly with the leadership of Congress. Instead, he brilliantly pushed a change agenda by going around the entrenched establishment interests, directly to the American people and surprised everyone with how much he got done. Ted Cruz threatens to do the same. The American people have had enough and are starving for real change. So is it any surprise the establishment, business as usual crowd loathes Ted Cruz? Those selfish pricks. He is their real enemy. He really is. They are right to fear him. If you want to be a sock puppet for the culture and the talking points of the left-leaning establishment, complete with the advocacy of preposterous double standards, helping to promote their smear tactics, their talking points, their unchecked blatant falsehoods, etc., while not applying those same standard to your own preferred candidates, then you discredit yourself the same way they do. You should be ashamed of yourself. If you want to support someone other than Ted Cruz, or if you just do not want to support Ted Cruz as a candidate, of course that's fine. But to just behave like a tool of the establishment media and their talking points, that is intellectually and morally pathetic. Would you or anyone here stop supporting or even be seriously put off by a candidate you support because of their role in the Iowa thing (instigated by CNN reports) and a bunch of other largely baseless or trivial crap spewed at them by their opponents during the course of a political campaign? I hope that nobody here will embarrass themselves by lying and suggesting that they would, when it is obvious that you wouldn't, especially if you are a supporter of Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton.
^^ My gosh you are so enamored with Cruz you simply ignore reality. So setting aside the clear evidence of Cruz's complete lack of integrity, lets simply explore your misconception of Reagan (a politician few so completely respected as people have no respect for Cruz). Where Cruz and his supporters believe Cruz can succeed (and in the process, make our country successful), Reagan saw the importance of bipartisonship and working with Congress: http://www.politico.com/story/2012/02/reagans-legacy-of-constructive-bipartisanship-072468 http://www.nytimes.com/roomfordebate/2012/06/11/could-ronald-reagan-lead-todays-gop/reagan-was-a-master-of-the-art-of-compromise http://thehill.com/blogs/pundits-blog/lawmaker-news/235409-how-ronald-reagan-and-tip-oneill-would-make-this-congress

I don't know who CometsWin supports, but most people criticizing Cruz in this thread are not Hillary supporters. Personally, would vote Kasich or Bernie at this point. That's how I'm leaning. Also, is this deflection to Hillary the only defense of Cruz's behavior? What a devastating defense of sliminess: yeah well there are other slimy politicians. We feel so much better about Edward now, thanks.
Why do you always change the subject? This is the second time I've asked you about it, but apparently you don't have an answer.
**picks mic up** If the subject of lying is being discussed, then talking about the Clintons is certainly not "changing the subject", that's for sure. **drops mic**
