Surely you didn't think people were going to sit silently after all of the "Oh dear, what will you do when your precious Terrence Jones is traded and DMo becomes the starter" trolling you've done over the past 5 months? It's dumb to be celebrating* DMo's departure, but you MORE than set yourself up for the reaction by devolving from a quality poster into one seemingly obsessed with this particular storyline.

*I'm not convinced anyone is actually celebrating the loss of a quality player. More likely just getting a good chuckle at your months of condescension not culminating the way you thought it would.

Can't get too attached to role players on this team. I have an "I love it when you call me Big Papa" Kostas Papanikolaou tshirt sitting in my drawer right now that I never even got to wear. :/

I gave Daryl Morey the benefit of the doubt, it's clear now I shouldn't have. The Rockets made themselves a worse team today and took away any possible hope for doing anything this season while also giving Durant a solid reason to not consider Houston in FA.

Today is a pretty bad day for Rockets fans, but some still celebrate anyway. It just shows their priorities.

When Dwight was out and injured, Dmo and guys like Pap, Garcia (minimally) had this team on a run. Just pure hustle and ball movement. It was amazing playing as grit under dogs for 20+ games before Pap got hurt then eventually Dmo.

I will personally miss DMo -- and anyone with a brain knows that the DMo we had last season makes this team objectively better. I don't agree on any level that he would have been the bait to lure Kevin Durant o_O -- but your mileage may vary.

My point is that it's the level of trolling you've done that is triggering the reaction -- not the departure itself. I don't recall you being that type of poster when I first started coming here, but it really became quite unbearable over the past few months and that is what people are reacting to. I think you know that.

Anyway, not that you care what I think, and that's OK. Just my $.02.

Oh I don't think he was going to be anything that would lure Durant, but I think showing Durant that Les is a cheapskate is something that would repel him.

As to trolling, I haven't done any. It's not my thing. There are people who thought that DMo was terrible and that Terrence Jones had all star potential (both claims have been walked back and disavowed) that I strongly disagreed with and sometimes laughed at, but that's not trolling.

The only good thing about DMo being traded is that it stops the debate that was mostly over already between Jones and DMo. It became obvious this season that Jones is total garbage, but even if there are a few that cling to delusions that he's good, it won't matter anymore. We're stuck with him for the rest of the season.

Oh, cool. I guess that means you won't bring up DMo/Jones completely unprovoked in threads unrelated to them anymore.

For the longest time, it was the biggest story with the team, now it's not. However, now not having anything resembling a starting caliber PF is a problem, so I'll probably bring that up because it's an issue unless Harrell steps it up. At this point, Harrell is the only hope for the future of the position.

Now, as to if people will be whiny b****es about that like they were about the DMo/Jones thing....I have no control over that.

He did the same exact thing in the Texans forum, except with Ryan Mallet. Down to giving up on the coach or GM because they didn't start Mallet

No...because they chose to start Hoyer....and I was right. If not for Hoyer getting hurt a few times, forcing BOB to start free agent QB's from the couch, the Texans don't make the playoffs at all.

    Get it right.

The thing, Dmo will probably have recurring injuries. That back ain't getting better but only stabilizing once every couple of moons. Just make an appreciation thread for Dmo for what he gave and could have been.

We traded the only guy who we could throw the ball to in the post

Dmo came into his own and was very essential to our success last season no doubt. I was really hoping that both him and Jones would become a dynamic force at the Power Forward position this season. Unfortunately injuries derailed that idea from the start of this season. Hopefully Dmo has a quality future in the NBA and I surely hope Jones steps his game up down here in the H. Jones however will bounce in the offseason. I don't see Morey and Company over paying for him either.

As far as Bobbythegreat he's been acting like this concerning Jones and Dmo. Dobro can attest to that Ms. Lady. He's a very smart individual but tends to have that Holic approach to everything. That's the I'm always right and you're wrong.

Bwhahaha larsva8 I'm strictly talking about how he writes on here. Yes he's mostly wrong all the time but he's pretty good expressing his point of views. Lol
