Rockets trade D-Mo, Thornton to Pistons for first round pick

I think we should see more of a youth movement to play KJ and Montrez. That way we can find out who stays and who goes this summer. I think this may be TJones last chance to prove if he can be consistently good or bad for the rest of the season as well. Before sending him packing. It will be a rebuilding summer. I'm kinda hoping we don't make the playoffs and keep our draft pick and we get Detroit's as well. Got to pull for Detroit now.

NO he can't. When a team trades for a player that they know he's already injured/come off a serious injury they can how you say it..forgo the physicals.
If they do't know it and the other team has hidden it then it can be a problem.

 

Plenty of games this season Thornton saved the rockets from defeat. Sad to see him go

I feel the need o go on a bit of a hiatus . In all of the years as a scout, highschool/AAU coach and Division 1 coach, I have never been so surprised by a dismal trade deadline.
I apologize to you and I told Dan I was annoyed. The info was good,but not one bi happened. at least,not to be arrogant, I was able to deliver with JSmoov,Marcus Thornton, The Golden Penny and my boy Arron before the coaching fallout.


Here's the deal, the Dwight fiasco blew everything up. Everythin.We wanted to include other pieces with him. Our own my buyer? Sactown,without Rudy Gay. Not close. Lots of guards.

We had a three-way minor deal with New Orleans,and New York. As I mentioned, "The Birds" were ready to part from Ryan Anderson with a few pieces(never told) to NY the same ones in every media site. Arronwould have been here.

A great deal (Milsap and was about to have a roster dropped for him.Brids and my personal friend Afflalo would have helped get Ty to NY. Others involved.

The last item discussed was Brandon Bass. He's been under the radar to be our vet shooting 4. The offer was going to be a draft pic,and worst scenario,KJ, if it worked. Lakers didn't bite.

"Hillary: it's been no secret that Jared Dud loves Houston. Interest was lukewarm,NeNe was hot earlier when DMo and TJ were....blah.

Wildcard,city of Brotherly Love was no other than Nerlens Noel. They have okafor and great pieces. He was available. I heard through Hastings that the Brewers salary wasa no go.

Man, I wanted Ryan Anderson and Rudy Gay.

It's a weird situation...

If he passes, is he healthy?
If he fails, is he shot?

I hope our medical staff is on point.

 

The Rockets had to make a decision on Donatas and Terrence this off-season. There was a much higher likelyhood for Donatas to be getting the 10-15 million per year offer from the league...And realistically the Rockets were NOT gonna pay that amount. Getting a protected 2016 1st rounder is acceptable as a consolation prize. What is NOT is the complete lack of direction the front office showed today...

Everyone is going after Durant, but the chance of the Rockets being that team...was already going to be daunting...considering how poorly the Rockets stars James Harden and Dwight Howard have led this team. If the Rockets are certain that Dwight opts out and may leave, the Rockets struck out in making a deal (something they surely knew about for a while now). Now hearing the comments of Morey stating that he will have "2" max spots available...is just plain idiotic.

27 games or so left...And as the Rockets sit OUTSIDE looking in...they have no momentum, no sense of identity, and 2 weak minded stars. It would be nice if they make the playoffs...but they will get swept by the Warriors or Spurs in the 1st round. If they go on a nice run to get to 5 or 6...They still will be heavy underdogs against the Thunder or Clippers. The Rockets have officially failed with Dwight and Harden...Im just shocked that it happened while they are still relatively young...

 

Hate to be the rockets when they play the pistons next time. Dmo gonna kill jones and Thornton gonna murder harden with jumpers off screens.

 

Now they just need to acquire a better photographer.
