Wow. This is a example of what the good relationships do for you. Morey has a reputation as a self absorbed smuck around the league. Doc Rivers is well liked. The Clippers traded a scrub for a above average stretch 4. Nobody would take ANY of Morey's trash. You don't think we could use Jeff Green on the Rockets? Good trade Doc

Memphis trades away Lee and Green. Gasol hurts foot. Will be interesting to see if the hold/or drop in the playoff standings.

This sucks. Morey will be outtanked by Memphis and won't be able to keep that 1st pick.

Funny how the Grizzlies which are above us in the standings have conceded the season, meanwhile Morey is still saying that the Rockets are still capable of being contenders.

Well if we lost our best player for the year I bet we'd be embracing the tank as well.

The Clippers are still only the 4th best team in the West. What difference does this trade make? They ain't winning a championship. They gave away a first round pick and they are still only 4th best. Big deal.

Anybody thinking Jeff Green or Courney Lee are the answer aren't asking the right questions.

While I am not a big fan of Lance Stephenson, the trade was a means to an end. To get something for green before he leaves in free agency, and to that end the grizzlies did what they needed to do which was get a pick for him.

conley by himself for the rest of the season doesn't exactly make them a good team

getting a nice player for the weakest position in their lineup isn't a bad way to go. so what if this doesn't win them a championship. it still solidifies their lineup

The 3 spot was a big liability for them, pre-deadline.

Now, giving CP3 another toy to play with?

    Paul
    Redick
    Green
    Griffin
    Jordan

    That's a ridiculous starting 5.

No way Green starts. He'll be the 6th man.

no, that only matters when Morey does it. when someone else does, it is bad.

Cause the numbers are clear for morey. This team is still a great team that has somehow magically under-performed. Memphis - before the injuries, were clicking on all cylinders and not performing.
