under his watch we have just acquired players and are stacked. The powers that may be need to make it work, not Les

I have no problems with Les. He's trying to win.

Some of his comments today were interesting. I think Les is really pissed at the players for lack of effort. He said he didn't place blame for the poor effort on the coach. He said he had to try something.

My guess is that Les is most unhappy with Harden. When the best player on your team won't give effort on defense, it sends a bad signal to the rest of the players.

Just a few days ago you were blessing us with your "analysis" about how everything was fine and McFail should have been coach of the year last season and was secure in his job. Look at him and look at yourself now. Your blind homerism to this regime has made you look like an idiot yet again. We're still waiting for you to release your predictions for the season that you promised a month ago, lol.

Les has awful taste in uniforms, but that's really the only negative thing I'd say about him. Drexler, Barkley, Pippen, McGrady and Harden have all been brought in under Les. Clearly, some of you knee jerking over-emotional d-bags didn't live through ownners like Bud Adams and John McMullen!

So some of you flamed hard when I made this thread.

But Le$ "empty threats" Alexander strikes once again.

Lol at anyone thinking we were actually going to do anything that makes sense.

All that happened was Le$ avoided the luxury tax.

You don't trade Dwight for pennies on the dollar. You don't trade Harden unless you're getting a star in return. Nobody wanted anything else from us. How is that an example of Le$? Its more an example of how far we've fallen. The one season where we toe the hard cap and we are sunk. I don't know about you, but I'd go back to penny pinching every year if it meant the Rockets would wind up in the WCF against GS.

Honestly, if you want a cheap owner look at Sarver.

Yeah why should Le$ pay any lux tax when Morey has shown that in 7+ years we are nowhere close to being a contender.

Les claimed "if they don't play hard they're not staying"

    Yet:
-most of this team hasn't played hard
    -they're all still here
-the guys who did play hard are traded

Les claimed "I have no problem spending money if it improves the team"
-we had to give away assets to trade Joel Anthony so les could avoid spending money

This sort of thing happens every year.

Well we were a contender last year but apparently the Morey/Les brain trust didn't want to spend money on a real point guard at the deadline.

He's by far the best owner in Houston sports history.

Cheap ass les doing it again. The rockets are a top 5 revenue team and they are trying to save money on the luxury tax. We need to fire less. Maybe the city can use its eminent domain powers and just take his team away. Leave him with nothing.

This is down right comical. Yes, let's call a bunch of teams and say "hey, this guy isn't playing hard for me so do you want him?" Yeah, that will work out perfectly.

The "assets" we gave out to get us under the tax were ONE second rounder. Big woop. Now Morey has the flexibility to work under, I don't think that was a Le$ move, it was a MOREy move.

The guys we traded also didn't play hard. Thornton (albeit a favorite of mine) was inconsistent a sieve on defense. DMo was out with back issues all season, is lost on rebounding, and basically a much more offensively oriented player who is going to get PAID this summer. Did I mention he is getting fat stacks of cash? Look, outside of a Durant, you will be overpaying this summer for anyone you sign in FA or RFA. Avoiding that keeps you from having an Allan Houston type of contract on your team. It's not Le$, it's smart.

    Hardly think, Les is cheap.

    This is Morey's mess.

Whenever Morey's shannigans backfire in his face, there mysteriously seems a blame shift off of him and on Les. However, i recall when we got to the WCF last year the same blame shifters gave Morey ALL the credit and Les none. If we win it's all Morey. If we fail its Les's fault. I see a disturbing pattern here:rolleyes:
