    Obviously he's in decline, but for short stretches like the playoffs, he's still a top 2 player in the league.

    Love is a top 10 player/legit superstar under 30, who is underutilized in CLE. If we get him, the Rockets still won't beat GS/SA this year, but their future would be solidified. It would be a huge coup. I would easily overpay for him(add picks or ariza/capela whoever), and plug in the holes later(not winning this year anyways).

    He is known to be available. Their players thought he was traded when they announced Blatt getting fired. He doesn't fit with Lebron/Kyrie.

    But do we have enough to get him is the question.

    What? This isn't about basketball philosophy. This is about getting maximum value out of a declining player who will opt out at the end of a disastrous season. It's either that or watch Dwight walk, while we go on wild goose chases in a crappy free agent offseason.

    Cleveland's small ball lineup would look like:

    Irving
    Shumpert
    Ariza
    LeBron
    Dwight

    Now I can't guarantee that can beat Golden State, but they'd have a better shot with that group than their current small ball lineup.
