I recall reading this before too, and it was definitely way before this month. I'm thinking what I read didn't go as far as saying they were specifically asking for the other to be traded, but definitely something about each of their camps being completely over the other going into that first summer. I feel like it was posted sometime last year.

Anyway, I don't see the huge deal. That was a devastating loss in devastating fashion, and Harden did not show. Right or wrong, I would expect emotions would've been high immediately after.

Pretty much everybody in Houston wanted Lin gone. No text messages needed

I am not surprised, and Fran is credible.

He is not one to make stuff up, he is a professional journalist.

I think you have it the wrong way round, Harden would never provide any info to Fran and certainly the under handed insult of Harden gives a fair idea of the source.

It depends.. If you're looking at personal text messages then why not..

If someone cocked up at your workplace wouldn't you go home and mention something to your wife or mates over a beer?

Howard is defense centric.. Harden is offense centric.. Of course they don't speak the same language..

Does it translate to them maneuvering to get the other traded? It sounds like pure speculation and ungrounded evidence to me

is this the same story that bleacher report just posted making it seem like they're trying to get each other traded now? If its the same old story, pathetic and cheap hate tacit on houston trying to pull that to make us look bad

It doesn't matter. This is very common anyways and it's always good coaching and progression that solves this. Let a good coach do his best under no terms other than his own.

The internet is a funny place, people discount the message because they don't like the messenger, never mind that said messenger is an accredited journalist who would lose his career if he made stuff up.

If he wrote about it, and now is saying it....I am 100% convinced it happened.

Myopia is a funny thing. When you were fed Fran's drivel in the Post/Chronicle heydey you no doubt took it gospel. And that has stayed with you in - evidently - perpetuity.

Professional accredited journalist naming 0 specific sources and citing "text messages". You'll excuse me, and the rest of us, if we aren't clamoring for a Pulitzer nomination for Fran.

The "funny" thing about losing your job over this is that no one can prove it's untrue. It's the cowards way to practice "journalism".

Or, for those of us without Fran-monogramed-kneepads, it's called desperate, attention seeking, B.S. from a guy further out of the Rox loop than at least 5 to 10 people on this very message board.
